  5. Had one in both my classics, wasnt a problem.......come as standard in some cars!
  6. The drop links are miles stronger the standard ones remind me of a wire fence! Find the car handles better, more solid on the road, turns in better more stable more confident. When I had the classic I felt you could drive round anything, the handling was so sorted........ thought it was on rails!
  7. I bought the prodrive adjustable! The droplinks are night and day, have a look at the ones on the car and have alook at the whiteline ones, big difference. Think I have some photos somewhere will post them up!
  8. I got mine done about March / April last year, done the drop links as well, makes a big difference to the Hawk. Im assuming you bought a Prodrive ARB?

  13. Try Go Compare. I recently renewed my insurance with Esure. Esure sent me through my renewal quaote, jumped on the website Go Compare cheapest quote was Esure but £100 less than thier renewal quote! Phoned them up to ask what was going on and they just told me to accept the online offer. Worth a shot m8
  14. Take it all back petrol is dearer in London! http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/17012011/36/pound-192-tank-petrol-0.html
  15. Sorry the economic crisis was caused by the banks and it started in the US, they are just greedy barstewards! As for the previous government I was better off under them!
  16. How about scraping the vat? We in this country are just getting the preverbial ripped out us, Vat was a tax introduced by the Torries many moons ago a bit like the Poll Tax! I am currently a self employed Electrician, living in Kilcreggan during the winter you need a 4x4 to get about even when its raining a 4x4 is best, I need the space for my tools and equipment, therefore my 4X4 jeep is a necessity. The Price of petrol no matter where you are should be the same, why is it when your local garge buys his petrol 6 months ago at for talking sake a £1 litre his tanks are stil half full, oil prices go up they then decide to add that cost on to you for petrol they bought at a pound. Ok when they get their next delivery and they pay more thats when they should be passing on the costs. So again being ripped off. I understand that blocking the refineries doesnt do anything apart from annoyance value, but what do you do? Fuel Price Stabiliser is not the answer especially when prices are so high, remember 70% of the cost of petrol is tax! So cost of a litre £1.30 70% of £1.30 = £0.91 We are paying for Bankers Gross Miscounduct while they award themselves £2million in bonuses. Just my opinion, if we continue to sit about and do nothing none of us will be runing around in our Scoobys!
  17. Tax on fuel is 68% - 70%. Unfortunately you have to start your protests somewhere, over 90% of fuel enters GB through Scotland, why is fuel therefore cheaper in London when you have to transport it there? What the protests will do is generate publicity to maximum effect as it will be national news. The price of petrol on the highlands and Islands is shocking, Im sure there are a few on here that will testify to that. What are you paying now £1.30 + ltr/ another rise on the horizion, how long will it be before its £1.50 upwards. My wife and I are currently paying £970 yr car tax and we are each paying approx £70 week in petrol or diesel. Thats £8k a year. Then you Have servicing costs etc on top. Its getting to the point where I would be better off staying at home on the Dole! Wee Jock
  18. Apathy achieves nothing!
