Goin to take a trip along to Perth on Monday to see the lads at RA Motorsport, want to have a look at my old V-LTD 1996 WRX as I heard it is now a Saxo! Have a chat with the lads and see what mods they can do for me, thinking of a budget of £5k all to be spent on the enegine. Still want it to be able to pass an MOT without having to take zorst off and fit cat so that will be my main sticking point...... want 400hp plus. The wife is missing the old V-LTD.....so am I to be honest!

Firstly as Robert says, ensure you give everything to the builder in writing, keep copies for yourself and send copies to head office, recorded delivery. In the first 24 mnths of your new house you must report all defects to the builder, if you do not get your issues resolved(at any time during this period) you then must submit a complaint to the NHBC claims resolution centre, they will ask you for your NHBC Insurance Certificate. Check your paperwork, you should have this certificate, if not contact your lawyer and ask him where it is. They will then appiont the appropriate person to take up your claim and meet with all parties involved. After the first 24 mnths the NHBC only cover structural defects. Regards Paul
