Well i was very pleased with the power figures i got today.Had a nice power curve and the guys at PE said it was very well setup and was very happy with it - I would of been happy with about 280-300bhp so 330bhp has left a bigger grin...Thanks again to the team that set today up. Very happy with my figures - especially the torque. Car is standard apart from exhaust (sports cat and magnex centre section and back box), filter, uprated fuel pump, and Andy Forrest remap. Nice to know my little old classic has the same performance figures as a brand new out the factory STi Le Barren - est.320bhp - 312bhp/285lbs/ft swtmerce - est.300bhp - 302bhp/256lbs/ft Hi Pele. Yep, I'm the one with the oversize coat hanger in my mouth I was so happy because I had only owned my car for 200 miles when she blew her big end bearings back in July. Since she was rebuilt I've been paranoid about detonation amongst other things. Anyway Iain said she was fuelling spot on, there wasn't even a tinkle of det and she was running very sweet. Before she blew she was rolling roaded at 304 bhp/250 lb/ft so I was very happy with today's 302 bhp. More importantly, I've gained a whole load of torque low down in the rev range. All credit to 22B Andy who rebuilt the motor. Thanks for organising the day! 4. Hi there. I rang around quite a few places when I got my coolant and turbo hoses and I found API to be the cheapest AND they had them in stock. Everyone else was on a two week lead time and a few pounds more expensive.

  7. Hi I'm not Kent Scoobies however I am a paid SIDC member (in Herts). Can I join in the fun please?
  8. Wuz, I don't know you, nor any of the people that are singing your praises. But from all the reports I'd recommend you keep on with your business but stay away from the forums. It seems you have plenty of business already and you don't need to rely on the forum to get any more. It seems the forum is only an avenue for certain others to bad mouth you. Good luck, but I don't think you need it
  9. Big thumbs up from me for V Power. My STi 4 is running in at the moment after a rebuild (no more than 3000rpm) and I got 180 miles out of about half a tank
  10. Little H, thanks for the reply. I'd not heard of such an experience with booster before. Good to be informed!
  11. Hi Little H Please can you elaborate? I thought you put in octane booster to increase your RON rating to NEGATE detonation?

  13. I just got my insurance through Clare (I think) at A plan. Did loads of searching and A plan were in the lead for a while. Then I found a cheaper quote so I asked A plan to match it, which they did so I went with them.
  14. I have an unmodded MY03 blob eye for sale here. I am much further away than 100 miles, however I believe that my honesty in a prolonged chat and multiple photos would go far enough to warrant getting on a cheap flight to Luton or Stansted where I could meet your friend. ; )
