I went from a td04 to the hybrid on my old 99 uk turbo and think it produced roughly 295 bhp. If i was to do it again i'd opt for a different turbo altogether and get more bang for my buck... If you've got a goal in mind regarding power levels etc , go for the smallest turbo available or like Iain , one with a little head room incase of the dreaded power creep

Someone mentioned an alternative to the 888's to me the other day , it might have been the Hankook right enough. He said they came with alot more tread depth but just as good (if not better).. I'll ask again and see what he says..

Thanks David. I kinda thought it was going to be a PITA to put right but *hoped* it wasn't going to be too expensive to fix. Hmmm.... I've seen a thread on the RA site about sill guards? but i'm not too sure about them tbh. I'll wait and see if the guy sends me close up pics so I can see how good they fit ,what kinda quality they are and see if they look any good on his car before i do anything else. Cheers
