  1. It's a different beast alltogether from the 2.0, a bit less lag, think on the old set up I wasnt getting 1 bar in fifth till over 3K now I'm getting it at 2800 this is on the TD05/06 variant of the 20G though, it seems to generate alot more torque than the 2.0 though and it's very noticable on the road, during the mapping session on one of the 4th gear runs it managed to spin the R888's around 60-70MPH (it was wet) which was a bit of a surprise but in a good way, it spools like a MOFO though the gear changes need to be fairly quick. the 550's are now maxed out and the fuel pressure was maxed out as well at 4.5bar Andy reckoned over 400 of each I'm not running silly ammounts of boost either only 1.3 on the Vpower map and 1.5 on the meth map, wouldent mind going back with a set of 740's and a stronger gearbox sometime though Pound for pound for all the money difference between a built 2.0 and a 2.1 stroker the stroker wins for me
  2. The brake combination is sexual

  7. People are into weiner waving and figure chasing nowadays not how to drive a moderately powered car very well and get the best from it.
  8. Well the previous 2.0 didnt spin the wheels in 4th at 60-70 MPH (it was wet for those reading) so I'm guessing yes It deffo pulls harder than a 2.0 though
  9. Big thanks to Andy.F for yesterday after some problems with the MAP sensor (which took a bit of head scratching to sort and keep the mapping session going) and a dodgy three port boost solenoid and a few other niggles the car now pulls very well indeed. Another thanks to SW Motorsport and co for building the engine and doing all of the work/fitting etc, I'm well chuffed with it Cheers lads The 2.1 gets my vote over the 2.0 now there is a big difference between the two.
  10. Fancied one of these as a tow car till I thought about fuel consumption s
  11. We're not worthy
  12. Your not checking your oil while the car is sitting at an angle like a slight hill or something are you? Is the engine hot or cold while checking?
  13. Do you mean a two port to a three port?
  14. Think it was a bad date TBH, Some of us (me included) already had tickets for Silverstone even before this trackday was announced, alot more would have went to T in the park which was also on, then there was the Glasgow bunch who wanted to do some sprinting at Kames, thats three things on on the same date as the trackday
