  1. Yea thats the stuff Dale you shine that torch on him ... Anyway what was this toe rag going to do with said sticker anyway not as though he could put it on his own car is it
  2. Excellent, At least this gives a proper explanation, So just say my insurance asks me my anual milage I say 10K, am I correct in thinking that I'm not covered after I have done my 10K? and just say I only do 5K but have insured myself for 10K shouldent I get a refund as I have only done 5K thats a 50% less chance (going by the law of averages you mentioned) that I am going to have an accident?
  3. THink he means car's with DCCD Jon
  4. better watch he dosent get caught out by legal implictions on this though as he would have given them false information (unknowingly though) but still false information all the same... I would say check your small print and find out if your insurance states a maximum milage per year or a rough estimate
  5. Ohh I wouldent be doing this either, they will probably do you for fiddeling the oddometer or driving with the incorrect milage which could land you in a whole world of s****
  6. No, you should tell them to go f%*k them selfs, AFAIK you only need to give an estimate of your rough milage not an exact figure because you can not give an exact figure when it comes to milage, like others say check your insurance small print
  7. I dont think you should worry about it, when ever I renew my insurance they only ask me for a "estimate" of how many miles I do per year, you can't really help it if you strayed about your estimate TBH after all it is only a guess as to how many miles you will be doing, look at all the years you have done under your estimate do you get a refund for that? do you feck! This is all IMO though
  8. I was on the JW.Mclean last trip lol

  14. Their name's wouldent be to hard to learn, most of them tend to be either called Bubba or Hubba
  15. If it's the headgasket (depending how fooked it is) it's still driveable just keep it off boost, I drove mine home from a mapping session with Andy from his place back to mine 35 miles north of Aberdeen then every day for a further four weeks (all off boost) till Wuz came home from offshore and got it fixed One way Andy told me to keep an eye on it was through the heating system, If you have no heat comming through you're heater's your running low on water in your system, keep an eye on your header tank level and keep it off boost Fill your header tank to its max turn the heaters up full then give it a blast if your heaters turn cold chances are it is your head gasket (remember to bring water to top up header tank again) Don'y know if this is the right way or the wrong way but it worked for me
  16. I hear they got some big rod in Trinidad maybe it was Winston's rod he smoked?, I'm sure those red necks will fix him up all nicely though <....cue the banjo music...> When he get's back to the USofA

  23. For a 2.5 the torque is way down IMO, like you said you should be about equal with BHP and torque or at least not very far away from your BHP figure as for mine it isnt comming along at all got everything fitted (not by me) thing was overfuelling like a thing that overfuels alot lol suspected injectors to be iffy so sent them off and got them flow checked refitted same problem with overfueling, was spluttering and coughing and seemed to be on and off of a cylinder, no probs i though must be a problem with the spark changed coilpack, then lost all spark went on to change the leads, plugs, cam/crank sensor all fuses even swapped ECU's and the main relay and still no spark, sourced a new wiring harness the other day was going to have a go at fitting this today but dentist decided to rip one of my molars out this aftrnoon so kind of lost the urge lol failing the wiring harness im well and truely fiucked!
