  9. why oh why do these muppets always have to point there bl@@dy finger at everybody bar themselves oh no it's nothing to do with us making cr@p cars, build quality's poor yadda yadda you all know the rest it's quite easy to go and place the blame on some other person or group, yes i do think it's a shame that rover is almost going down the tubes but dont blame one program for its demise also whats wrong with taking a 4 x 4 up a hill ? it's been there for BLOO@Y YEARS, a bit of tread may dig up a bit of moss and stuff but it will grow back thank you and now i shall step off my soap box and have a nice cup of herb tea
  10. my username did'nt take much thought what so ever, the company i work for is scientific drilling and i'm steve, thats it.......
  11. i spoke to calder in december about the yellow one and they told me that if i wanted to come down and take a test drive that i would have to wait a bit as they were working on the bottom end of the engine as it had a bit of a "knocking noise " comming from it, i enquired a bit more about this and they said that it was nothing major and after all the work there would be no change in price and as this has been sitting for a while it's price has dropped anyway you could, if interested, try and barter them down a bit more
  12. i's a means to an end i suppose, but this is when it's pants, you see the nice warm weather and think Bu@@er i should be out playing i'm heading offshore the morrow going off to bp clair on the maersk inspieror (not sure if thats how you spell it) where did you get your braded lines from and how much? i take it they are easy enough to fit?

  16. anybody else go out for a very long blast in todays nice warm weather? decided to go out for some light bulbs from Q & B at bridge of dee in aberdeen and ended up on the road to ballater, aboyne was nice and by chance i found one or two very nice roads to play on the only bu@@er is that i had a big bit of brake fade and almost went "off road" whilst not meaning to not only that but have developed brake judder, quite a bit at times under hard fast braking any suggestions ie upgrade or do i just change disks if so what to go for ? any of you chaps went for braded lines ? MY 98 sti type r
  17. [ One of my hubby's friends has got a tatoo that goes from his neck, all down his back, across his buttocks, both his thighs and right down his calves. Its really . It's like a Japanese scene with Geisha girls and koi and it's in colour too. It's great to look at , it's got such detail. He said that the most painful bit was across his kidneys and of course his buttocks!! It took 24 hours to do which he did in 2 hours sittings. I'm in awe >> yep, i do have to agree with that, the area i'm at just now is over the kidneys and moving on down to over the lower back. after a few sittings you find that your body sets it's own sort of limit, the first sitting i had was for the main top outline and sat thinking "what the f@@@ am i doing" and it was for 3 1/2 hours after that i found out that about 2 1/2 hours was a good sort of limit. the guy that is doing it for me is getting a geisha on himself, from right arm-pit to knee, he's tried to pass on the pain he's been through to myself, not only that but wearing a g-string whilst the other chaps face is quite close to is but sort of paints a certain picture, dont it? by the way, the creams do work.............
  18. lookin good chaps, i have to agree that it's like pringels, once you start you just cant stop at one.... i have been tempted to post mine but as it aint finished yet it's a bit pointless, have done 15 1/2 hours and with about another 8 or so to go it's the type of thing you want to show off at any chance if you want to know what it is...................... it's a tribal back piece neck to pant line and if it werent for a pain killing cream i got from the states i think it would not of been as big mid back, on the fleashy bits, f@@@@@@@@kin hurts
  19. sorry to see that some jerk took your motor out dont suppose you took any photos of the crash site ie how the car situated after being hit, where all the parked cars were at the time even car reg no's that were parked there hindsight is always 20/20 but with camera phones the way they are today it is poss. to get pretty good shots even at night, not the first thing you think of just after some di**head has just blasted into your motor the reason i ask is because this has helped out in a suitation before
  20. well i could be after both as me mate has just got himself a scooby aswell and is after a few bits too get a few more bhp out of it if you could send me some piccies that would be a plus stevesmithm3@yahoo.co.uk cheers steve
  21. must admit that i do like the noise that my new magnex full system makes on my MY98 sti type r but am very interested in the down pipes as well, how much bhp do you think these make? and how easy are they to fit on me car ? cheers steve
  22. thats the best part of the job mate best thing is when you hear the chopper its a case of have passport will travel, i'll go and work any place i get sent to, life of a service hand
  23. as long as folk dont bite i'll come to this one, was going to come to the last one but had a busy day at the office, traffic was a bugger, could'nt find anything to put on, lost me keys..................... hope you guys wont be to hard on me for not washing the motor, dont think there's much point at the mo, steve
  24. ahh well we cant help that can we hope you aint freinds with those folk who say they are in the motor trade ie doomhill motors....... before i got my MY98 the other month i went up with my m3 evo to look at the silver sti they had, that had been on the lot for a few months the cheeky bstardo offered me just 7k i almost said something very unflattering to him before i walked away think they should be taken up before trades people, more like thieves then bloomin car sales............. i also am involved in the black gold industry for me sins, cant help it coming from this part of the country i suppose, but the good thing is that with the time off and the extra beer vouchers we can get the type of toys that gives a big grin steve
