the intercoolers are physically the same size but i think the sti version has a more efficient core, it bolted straight on mine anyway.

i'm using DBA discs and tried the red stuff pads with them first, i thought they were useless, tried 5.1 fluid, already got braided hoses and still rubbish, hot or cold. I had no confidence in the brakes at all. i'm now using mintex 1144 with no problems, just a little squeal sometimes, but only in reverse lol
