  1. Dent now fixed face-icon-small-happy.gif

Great pics Spince, anyone downloaded the pics of the lassie "dressed" (ahem) in black that was sitting on the bonnet of Spooks & Iain's motor yet?

Not that I would be interested in looking at that kind of material, of course face-icon-small-blush.gifface-icon-small-wink.gif

  2. Yup.... great day was had. This was my 1st experience of a car show and i'll definitely be going back next year.

Need to seriously think about wether i'd put my car back on any stand though, as my front near-side wing has picked up a wee "dink" that wasn't there when i polished the car on Saturday. I am assuming someone must have hit it with their watch/pram etc on their way past. I'm hopefull a dent-wizard guy i know will be able to get the dent away but that's another £50 i hadn't planned on spending face-icon-small-blush.gif

My coupon is roughly the same colour as my car today too - even though it wasn't particularly sunny face-icon-small-happy.gif

  3. Maybe slightly out your way Andy, but Stevie Walkers over in Bathgate do good work. Their number is 01506 633471 - if you speak to Stevie tell him I pointed u in his direction face-icon-small-happy.gif

Sorry to hear about your scrape btw

  4. No Iain, take the A8000 up towards Kirkliston, then at the roundabout go right onto the M9 south-bound. Once on the M9, take the 1st slip-road off which will bring you out @ the Newbridge roundabout - the McDonalds should be clearly visible about half a mile before getting to the Newbridge roundabout - stay in the right-hand lane as you approach.

  5. I have to agree with andywrx on this one (P.S. - love the Mods: Does a Nokia Car Kit count? line).

Jaki, I know I am not alone in thinking that the contents of your initial posts led the reader to believe you weren't who you said you were. I think posting the pics of "your" car when they were quite clearly borrowed from the scoobyworld website is one instance of this.

However, if your a genuine scooby owner then stick around, this club is choc-full of nice lads n lassies always willing to help out & be friendly. I have only been a member for 5 months and, as someone else said on this thread, your not going to make friends with everyone but the majority of people are only here to help & be helped.

I know the thread your reffering to when you say you've been linked to adult web-sites - i think this was perhaps a bit of banter which in my own personal opinion went just a shade too far (as per you being offended) but this is NOT the normal way existing members go about greetings newbies like yourself.

Add your name onto the MSN Contacts List thread if you want, you will get most of the regulars on there to chat to.

Whatever u choose to do, I wish you all the best

    Andy

  6. Yup, those are some smart wheels.

My opinion (for what it's worth): Go for the 18" Rota wheels. Those genuine ones are stunning, but your getting 18" wheels that are 99.9% identical for half the price.

    18" = more bling face-icon-small-happy.gif

Do i look the type of lad to be refusing some discounted (and by all accounts so far, delicious) chinese food? face-icon-small-happy.gif

  8. What he said ^^^^

I got caught speeding on the dual carraigeway that joins up the Newbridge roundabout and the airport last year - it's a 40mph limit and there's sometimes a mobile camera van sitting in the layby about 250 yards from the roundabout - about 5 yards before the limit increases to 60mph!!!

Just mentioning it as they may be on the look-out coz of the event that day

  9. Along the M8, take the junction signposted for the airport, when u join the north-bound road from the slip-road come straight back off again to your left. The McDonalds "restraunt" is on your left, take the tiny wee slip-road before the traffic lights @ Newbridge roundabout and your there
