  1. When u picking it up boab, or have you got it already?
  2. Looks braw boab, nice one
  3. That last one looks a decent buy boab, although i think he is being slightly economical with the truth about the bhp figures - i've got a Ninja backbox and Green panel filter on my 03-plate, and it does make a small difference. The seller does say 'at the crank' right enough.
  4. Ah! So he has. My apologies. 4 then. I'm getting auld - memory aint what it used to be.
  5. I suppose my first 'story' doesn't really involve bad driving, it just annoyed me cause I tend to have a 'we are all in this together' attitude when there are tailbacks, and only related the story here because it happened this morning!
  6. I was on the way into work this morning. Traffic tailed back in both lanes approcahing Eurocentral, but both lanes are doing a steady 20-25mph. A black BMW X5 (reg X5* LEO) that was in the outside lane suddenly jumps over into lane 1, right in front of me, then takes the Euro central slip. At the roundabout at the top he continues over onto the slip back down onto the motorway again - just to get maybe 200 yards in front of where he was!! Heading home about 2 weeks ago on the M8, just got past the Airdrie junction and was in lane 2 - both lanes are chocka in front of me for as far as I can see (approx 5.35pm). Both lanes doing similar speeds. A red Astra (W3* DRU) suddenly appears on my left-side, flys past me and jumps into lane 2 directly in front of me (causing me to brake). Astra then sits in front of me for the next 8-10 miles (can't go anywhere due to the volume of traffic). As we approach the Harthill/Shotts junction he then does the same to a jeep that was in front of him - this time he cut very sharply back into lane 2 to avoid rear-ending a truck in lane 1, the jeep brakes then the astra cuts the truck up to go from lane 2 straight over to take the Harthill junction! Perhaps people should be made to do a driver refresher course every 10 years or something. Not that my driving is perfect - it isn't - but I don't drive like an ar*ehole!!!
  7. Thanks for all the comments folks - appreciate it
  8. Good luck Sharon
  9. I was down @ Scott Paints about a fortnight ago looking for a touch-up stick, didn't see this one sitting - must be new-in? Does look clean & straight. Get it dropped on Teins, colour-code the side-skirts, STI-style rear spoiler, set of Scott-Lowe's finest flaps, maybe a set of black 18's, de-badge the boot and change the twin-pea-shooter for a nice 4" box and you got yourself a nice-looking piece of kit there! How many miles has it done? Not many silver new-age cars going about (only 3 in the club that I know of - ImprezaPete, Brian & Bing). So it'll be fairly unique!
  10. Sorry to hear about this Graeme... chin up mate.
  11. You probably seen the poll, you might even have voted - now see the pics!! Only put two on this morning, the silver ones are going back on until March/April time. What do you think?
  12. Hehe...... to be honest, if i could turn the clock back i wouldnt have got mine colour-coded. Looks smart from the side, but i cant say i'm too keen on how it looks from the front. Ah well.
  13. Nowt wrong with a colour-coded scott-lowe splitter, but then i am biased!
  14. On my first Subaru, had it since start of March 05. No plans to change in the near future. Unless the Euromillions draw is lucky for me tonight!
  15. Very nice Claire, awful rare these days. Wouldnt mind a wee shot either Was the insurance not a bit of a killer?
  16. Yea - kinda took me by surprise how good it looked. Perhaps i should have purchased one for myself instead of my scott lowe number! Ah well.
  17. Gus.... i bet you thought i'd vote for the STI winglets and the scott lowe splitter, but got to admit - that subaru splitter does look the dogs danglies. Keep the splitter, sell the STI winglets.
  18. No sauce at all for me - i prefer my haggis bare
  19. MUCH better
  20. Hmmmm.... might have a couple of rolls on haggis for my tea tonight. If you've never tried it - give it a bash - it's braw!
  21. Cal - STILL not deleted me off it.
