Wish I could help out Iain but it's my local Galaday this Saturday too.
Hope yours goes well for you [Y]

I am totally confused. Why did they need to make it all complicated!!
-
dont see a hell of a lot wrong with that tbh [:S]
Snap.
Must be a slow news day.
I did spot one of our residents videos comes up at the end - a run through a snowy Glenshee back in Mid March.
-
Probably touching £37K but have you considered a BMW 335d M Sport Coupe? 0-62mph in 6.1secs, quoted 37.7mpg
Or slightly cheaper the 330d M Sport? (£34.7K) 6.7secs 0-62mph & mpg of 43.5
I'd certainly have one on my list if i was looking to spend £30-40K.

Very nice cars both of you [Y]
-
Scott
It was £245 back in March 2005 which is maybe a touch on the expensive side but they done an excellent job.
Is it you thats the new owner of the black hawkeye WRX then? [

S-Max is a nice machine (can hardly believe i'm saying that!)
Post some pics up when you get it [Y]

Del - slightly off-topic, but see this story on the BBC news website here
As for somewhere in Glasgow, dunno mate, but Magma out in Bathgate are very good.
-
Just off the phone with the vehicle inspector, was asking about the car, mileage, cost, spec etc. Was almost sick to the stomach to hear him ask, was the spoiler knocked off in the accident?........................
I am raging!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aye thats crap mate - at least you can show them the foties of the car on Burgoyne's transporter with the spoiler still in place.
Who do you suspect has pinched it?
-
Frank - is it this one?
If so then I think it only ever got fitted to the WR1 (as standard) - STi's don't have theses grilles at all.
I got one on my WRX when I was getting the car off the dealer and aye, I do mind the bottom one on it's own was around the £200 mark.
Scott Lowe was apparently doing replica's but I checked his website just now & they are not showing anymore. Maybe worth your mate giving scott a call, he's a very helpful chap.
Only other thing I can suggest is either keep an eye on eBay + SNet, or get him to buy some of the mesh you can buy in Halfords & cut it to fit (I also noticed B&Q seem to have a large selection of mesh in stock when I was in there the other day)

Hi Steve
Nice looking car you got yourself there - saw you getting pulled by the Merc but good that you didn't get much hassle!

18's should fit fine Kevan [Y]
If it was me, on your car, i'd go for the BBS rims that clutdav has on his car - they look superb and would be getting purchased for my car if I was looking for wheels right now.
-
Ouch [

Sorry to see that but at least no-one was seriously hurt.
Hope your back in a scoob again soon
-
Well, i've just checked my emails and I put the car in there one Wednesday and collected it again the following Friday (so 8 full days) and it cost me £45.
-
Paul - i've used Car Storage Scotland a few times and always been happy with the service - if you phone them and ask them about the price they can usually do you a deal.
Mark Spiers is the man to speak to.
If you get the chance ask them to show you round - some VERY interesting machinery in there.
P.S. Don't go for one of those bubble things - no need if it's only a couple of weeks.
-
Very nice Ian [Y]
-
I was through at Livi today so I popped into Halfrods & bought a Stebel Nautilus - £17.24
I'll fit it later on if it stops raining
-
Easy to fit Andy? Also, where did you get them from?
Edit - found this site - http://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/Horns.html

Gonny tell me, probably THE most technically clueless on here, what a woodruff key is?
-
Small rear lip spoiler would look superb Grant [Y]
Especially with one of those rear roof spoilers
-
Looking superb Grant [Y]
Wheels definitely suit the colour of the car.
