  10. Typical! After me saying in another thread that i'd had the GEMS re-mapped and the car was running like a dream....i should have known life wasnt that easy! Took the car out yest. Gee and i spent all day washing and polishing , then went for a spin...temperature gauge started to climb then shot thru the roof Was alright for about 10 mins then went climbing up. Blasted the heaters, make a small difference, but only just. Straight back home, and got my brother to check over. He said nothing obvious. But the engine was ROASTING. Let it cool down then went back out again. Had heaters blasting once temp gauge started to rise again. Cold air and no difference. Then just as we were heading home and the temp gauge was right at the top, heater started blasting hot air and temp gauge went back down to normal! Anybody have any ideas???????? Baffled. Car felt fine. Apart from the obvious boiling engine and soaring temp gauge! HELP!
  11. Whats happening with this??????? How about the 18th September - thats the "J Tuner (japanese car mag) day. Sounds like the ideal day for the scoobs!
  12. << or OJ Simpson LOL >> He would probably have made a better job
  13. That excellent Peter Glad to hear ur re-map went well. Looking forward to seeing the car now - especially with ur Anti-Lag! Funnily enough, i've had my GEMS re-mapped as well - and it GOES! WHOOSH! OH YEAH BABY DOES IT GO All i can say to other peeps thinking about the GEMS for their road cars - DONT GET STEVE SIMPSON TO MAP IT. Speaking from experience. End of!
  14. About £1500!!!! I've got the GEMS ecu (dunno which one tho), and i also had mine fitted and mapped by Steve Simpson. I've having mine re-mapped tho by someone else in the near future
  15. Miss Scooby STI! May have been a bit harsh reading back now, but at least u'll know how i feel and that i aint taking any crap from u! Thanx for the concern - if u r genuinely been serious for a change.
  16. ps - As a certain dog, in a certain music video, says to eminem: "As a dog, i must ask, what does Dr Dre's ass smell like?" In same stylee: "So, Baldyadonis, what does Gunball's ass smell like?"
  17. << and a message for miss scooby sti......in true g unit fashion......... "reference your post yesterday saying im not that fast? i remember smoking you and your mans WR1 more times then 12 years of regal fags" " and as for retiring, maybe your jealous cos you dont have anything to retire from? like months and months of intense driving" take the rest of the day off, i can see that that cleverly thought out post took up a lot of your grey matter. stick to riding shotgun in washed out limos >> I have been advised to ignore this drivell and rise above it, but i aint taking crap from someone who drives about looking stupid, wearing a huge babygro! SO much i could say back, but instead here's some bullet points for ya... 1/ re smoking me - i think not. Only time i saw you on May Run was when you arrived at the lunchtime stop wearing your big babygro, and we all laughed. Just cos you left the car park before us, i would hardly call that been smoked. 2/ "nothing to retire from...months and months of intense driving" WTF? In your case i say it was more like months and months of intense posting on SIDC. Some of us have more important things in our lives. I, and plenty others, were SIDC members long before you joined and will still be here long after your gone, which hopefully wont be too long, so that the rest of the members can have our site back. And if your talking about me posting before that my car had been off the road for 5 months, that was because i had been in hospital and been seriously ill, and wasnt well enough to get out off bed, never mind drive. 3/ U posted before that you had an excellent car and you were such a good driver. If thats the case, how come you pranged it all on your own? Only one possible reason if the car was all fine before the bang - and that would be the driver. You may think that it's big and clever to take silly risks on public roads, but u'll pay the price in the end. I've nearly lost my life too many time to count over the past 6 years due to medical reasons, and as a result i make sure i live life to the full now. But that doesnt mean taking silly risks and endangering yourself and others around you. And it also means i'm not gonna waste any more of my precious time on an immature post ho whos ruining the SIDC forums. << I know its not big and its not clever. The keyboard warriors are going to have to up their game to out patter me from now on >> Keyboard warrior?!! Like i said before, time is precious, and if i think someone is an a'hole then i'll say they're an a'hole! So, Gumball - your an as'hole - and i'll quite happily say it to your face! So, why dont you take yourself and your beatches back over to ScoobyNet where you belong! END OF!
  18. that clip is excellent The UK Pimp My Ride is so funny (in a bad way) compared to X's version. no comment on the rest of the site.
  19. << and enjoy the runs without having me going fast >> Ur werent that fast Besides, I think ur just spouting off to get some attention and have all ur m8's praising u up and asking you to stay Plenty of others have done the same and its getting boring now.....
  20. Obviously not! Hot off the press... RALLY IS ON!! Less cars than last year, so more stages been run. (i personally think they picked a bad date to hold it). My brother is Car 26
