  1. Sent you a PM mate
  2. Sorry to hear about your motor bud. I know of a good place in Barrhead. PM me if you want details. norry.
  3. 69ish eh, good job you weren't going any faster! :waving-santa: norry
  4. Nothing you can do now bud. You've taken it like a man and learned your lesson, nuff said..... Can't believe how much stick you're getting for this. You've held your hands up and taken the punishment for it, it's not liked you murdered someone!!!! Anyways the car's looking good, managed to get it polished a couple of times over the summer...well when I say summer youknow what I mean. I presume the scoob's back on the road?
  5. I suspect you might get a lot of unwanted attention with that plate...and not from the police! Safer going with something else, or just saving your money for petrol/mods.
  6. Hi Carson, hows it going buddy? Sorry to hear about your "run-in" with the cops - lesson learned I suspect. As for all those "whiter than white" members out there, a well known man once said:"let him who is without sin cast the first stone." We've all broken some law/rule/regulation at some point, so don't give the guy a hard time for owning up to his misdemeanor and warning the rest of us to be on our guard. He's not the only scooby owner in the area who has used his mobile phone behind the wheel- I've seen plenty others about doing the exact same thing! Chin up mate, norry
  7. Sorry to hear about your car buddy, looks like a really nice example. Let's hope the cops get a hold of these scumbags and lock 'em up.
  8. Thanks for the replies I think the HT Autos splitter sounds like the one. On behalf of my sis' - thanks again!
  9. Hi guys, Looking for a but of help: My sister has a GB270 and has just damaged the front splitter! Doesn't know how it happenned.....aye right! Anyway, the stealers want about £300 for a replacement splitter I suggested that she just leaves it off, because more than likely it'll get damaged again, but it's her car, so she's going to fit a new one. Surely there's somewhere cheaper than Subaru for the splitter. Any help would be appreciated. She should've bought a classic...... IMHO of course! norry.
  10. Like the new front lights. Any night-time piccies?
  11. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion m8. The fact that their opinion might not be worth much is a different issue. And just for the record....name & shame. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable!
  12. I've got a standard MY89 UK spec turbo - (apart from Green panel filter & stainless back-box) I can remember checking fuel consumption not that long ago after a long run keeping revs low for most of the journey with occasional bursts of overtaking and thought to myself this should work out pretty good.....for me. 23mpg! After that, I decided it's probably best NOT to check fuel consumption. norry.
  13. Think I'll stick with my classic. Sounds like the new one's a pile o disappointment! It'd be interesting to do a poll in a few months time to see how many newage owners have returned to the "classic" fold. A fair few if some of the recent posts are anything to go by.
  14. No worries. I'm still lovin the new lights. No matter what the opinion of others might be. Sti lights are cool, but when darkness falls.......afterburners all the way!!!!
  15. Headin off for the weekend, but I can pop round once I get back if you are strugglin. You'd get to see the new lights in the flesh!!!!
  16. Only windin you up m8! When you getting the car on the road?
  17. Oi, remember I know where you live! Chav central.... I'll have you. Only joking bud.
  18. It's dead simple if you just trace the wires back logically from your original light cluster. When it comes to electrics I have no clue whatsoever.......and I managed it in about 5 mins.
  19. It's been designed that way to stop you from speeding m8.
  20. At least a headlight conversion will sort out the bugeye. The only remedy for the Multipla is a paper bag I'm afraid.
  21. Well done that man! Good idea taking pics m8. I'll need to do a similar job to mine soon as well I fear, so thanks.
  22. Guilty as charged! JB Coachworks were recommended originally by Seano. After having a chat with Jim, I had the confidence to let him do the works and was delighted with the work I had done. (I had some paint bubbling/corrosion around the offside rear wheel arch) Any future repair works to be carried out and it will be going to JB Coachworks. norry. p.s. glad you other guys are as happy with their work as I was.
  23. Couldn't agree more m8, although I suppose I might be a bit biassed!
  24. The front view looks good m8, but I think you should either loose the clawmarks on the sides or at least try making them smaller, or changing the colour, as mentioned above. Having said that, I saw the exact same graphics on a car on TV at the weekend and it looked pretty good. Remember it's your car and if you think it looks good.....go for it. No matter what you do, there will always be someone who criticises. I remember being told when I was a wee lad, "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all." (Perhaps that's why I don't say much ) norry.
