  1. mmmm decisions, decisions, In the unlikely event of never owning a subaru again first choice would be an Escort Cosworth LUX but they are getting a bit old now so probably one of the following depending how much i had to spend. Subaru [] Porsche 911 Evo VIII FQ-350 Ford Focus RS Seat Leon Cupra R Al
  2. Sorry to hear this Gus. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Al & Lyndsey
  3. Can anyone update us all on the outcome of this event. Whats the total amount raised and when is it being donated over. Is there going to be a big presentation etc. Any excuse for another meeting of subarus ?? Al
  4. Get it on fullscrean and look again, theres two flames come out the back but if you look at the bottom left you can see it igniting inside the exhaust sometimes []
  5. Had fun doing this, will have to do one in the dark sometime with the camera pionting into the exhaust pipe []
  6. You wont rip the next one off so quick!!!! []
  7. Just pull that whole plastic thingy out that holds the clock. The front nearest the window will come out first if you lift it with the lip just above the clock. Once out you can disconnect the clock and you will see the screws holding it in. Its held in well but if you pull hard enough it will come out. Second time arround will be easier. Al

  12. Had a buzzing on mine. Ended up earthing each amp seperately. Also sanded it down to bear metal to make a good ground. If this doesnt work it could be from the head unit. I ran a seperate lead form the -ve at the head unit to the -ve on the battery to get a good earth. Having installed as many systems as you have am sure you should know how to fix it [] Al
  13. Ive got a B&M Quickshift, brand new £60 from flea bay. Am sure theres better things you could do before spending £300 to change gear faster IMHO [] Al
  14. What....you are slower than Al[] What do u mean, slower than Al. Ive got nearly 300BHP and 300lbft torque. Cant understand why its so slow. Think Tll have to go to the gym, leave lyndsey in the carpark and remove the tree in the boot holding the subs and amps etc as its probably like having four people in the car. For another £1000 i could have the hybrid turbo, sti intercooler, sir filter and tweek remap but is it really worth it for a couple of seconds faster ???? Me thinks not []
  15. Dastek in Dalgety Bay is your best bet.

  21. Got emailed this today, its good and made me laugh [] CAUTION. 18 months ago I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from DrinkingMates 4.2, which I had used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1, Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. Successive versions of GirlFriend proved no better. I tried a shareware program, Slapper 2.1, but it had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks. Eventually, I tried to run GirlFriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the same time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other they caused severe damage to my hardware. I eventually upgraded to Fiancée 1.0, only to discover that this product soon had to be upgraded further to Wife 1.0.While Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my available resources, it does come bundled with FreeSexPlus and Cleanhouse2004. Shortly after this upgrade, however, I found that Wife 1.0 could be very unstable and costly to run.Any mistakes I made were automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They then resurfaced months later when I had forgotten about them. Wife 1.0 also has an automatic Diary, Explorer and E-mail filter, and can, without warning, launch TurboStrop and Whinge. These latter products have no Help files, and I have to try to guess what the problem is. Additional problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly, requiring ShoeShop Browser for new attachments and Hairstyle Express which needs to be reinstalled every other week. Also, when Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Saab 93 Convertible hard drive, it often crashes. Wife 1.0 also comes with an irritating pop-up called MotherI-n-Law, which can't be turned off. Recently I've been tempted to install Mistress 2005, but there could be problems. A friend of mine has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects Mistress 2005, it tends to delete all of your money before uninstalling itself.
  22. Its a bit pricey for me but heres the guys website if anyone else is interested !!! http://www.miracledetail.co.uk/
