car is down at alan jeffrey in plymouth mate, after much debate between alan, dunc and myself we all decided to let them crack on with it, they are keeping the car til its run in and mapped so saves me a lot of hassle too.... its the v8 i cant justify, the new 1 is pretty much standard and for using every day, the v8 is just a toy that drains the bank balance

shouldnt be too much longer now i hope, see above post, just fiddly bits being worked on just now

its def a v5, was dunc that told me they would be 380s so he must be getting mixed up....550s should do the job

i bet they are, stopped on the motorway on way up road, £120.9 a litre....

engine has been fitted, they are now just sourcing a load of bolts/brackets etc that were butchered while the car was at ava once thats done then alan reckons it will be full steam ahead and shouldnt take long, although now i have a new 1 to play with i aint hassling him as much to get it finished.lol

just back, car got the thumbs up, need to get a set of bigger injectors though as the 380s on it are maxed out....thats the modding started already

ive just been setting up a photobucket account, just need to get the pics transferred onto it now, i'm not the best with computers so it could take a while.lol....

got it down near gatwick, well worth the trip IMO.... there is a really tidy 1 for sale on scoobynet at the moment in wales, looks mint as well.....

after a very long day yesterday leaving at 6.30am, eventually got back about 11.30pm last night after being stuck in loads of traffic on the m6. even the delays and the weather couldnt spoil it though, picked up a v4 type r yesterday and love it, always fancied a 2 door so finally took the plunge, i must be mad having 2 scoobs but with the low mileage i'm doing the new 1 will be getting used every day...... off up to hypertech shortly for dunc to give it the once over and change the oil for me, just hope he doesnt twist my arm and start me modding this 1

i got greedy and wanted 1 of each, so yes, i'm now officially a classic owner now 2

it would be the type r for me, looks the dogs danglies, surprised it hasnt been snapped up already..if its a white 1 ur after cullenmin's is a tidy car..... scott

it takes so lomg you start to lose heart and motivation with it and wonder if it is actually worth the hassle, i know exactly how it feels from when ava had my car and made a mess of it, now alan J has it im regaining my enthusiasm for it and hopefully it wont be too long til its back, will just have to make do with the new 1 til then

ah, i dont mean that 1 Peter, although you are welcome to see that 1 too when i get it back

Scott, Nice to hear from you, hope your well? RB320? nope, still got the sti8 mate, its been off the road a while now though and is away for some light surgery at the moment

its all good fun, but going to send me bankrupt, ive still not stopped with the extras even since my car went down to plymouth for its hols

the 2.1 from alan jeffrey would do the job, should have mine up and running soon, its easy to go way over budget though...
