Bonsoir mes amis, je suis ici ................computers been off line since Saturday and only just up and running just in case you thought I was still being interrogated by those French border guards. Yes, it was a great day and thanks to everyone who came along and for Sheepie for the moral support!! Good weather, good itinerary even though we left it a bit late to get any shopping. If anyone needs a guide to the loos in that part of France just get in touch with .......! [] Can't wait to co-ordinate the next trip lol

  14. [] Bad news for ya barry, times have changed. Petrol is no longer cheaper in France. Unleaded 95 is about the same price as in the U.K. so i would assume V power would be the same LPG is now about 10% more expensive in Calais. Diesel is about 15% cheaper. And unbelivably Petrol in Belgium is now more expensive than both France and the U.K. Just to keep you informed, buying petrol on the autoroutes is expensive about 10% more than the hypermarkets, so i'd stick to the hypermarkets. [] ......and there was me starting to save all my old empty milk cartons []

  23. Up on Winns Common Plumstead today about 530pm and saw a white classic followed about 10 minutes later by silver one - all the windows open and imho poor taste in music being played far too loudly []
