Anyone else feel that the whole of the SIDC site seems to have been running slowly over the last couple of days ? Not having trouble with anything else

If its this Saturday it's likely to be a no I'm afraid Baz. Waited in all day yesterday for furniture delivery ....................need I go on. Promised delivery now Saturday first thing. Given that they'd got no trace of my name on yesterdays deliveries, despite telling me it was on the lorry, I'm not holding my breath for the 'promised first thing'......wonkers.

Man went round his friends house and was surprised to see him playing chess with his dog. He watched for a while in complete amazement. At exactly 12o'clock a siren goes and all the workers start leaving the building. One of the Albanians cries out " stop them, they're all escaping". The works manager explains to the Albanians that they're not escaping but just going for their lunch break. "At 1o'clock a whistle will blow and they'll all come back to work". The tour continued and indeed at 1o'clock the whistle went and the workers all returned. At the conclusion of the tour the factory owner was preparing his sales pitch and asked the group if they'd enjoyed their tour and whether he could now interest them in any of his goods. "Yes please, we'll take one of those whistles!"

The other points behind him and replies "dogs crap 20 feet" Its 1930 and a couple go along to an airshow. The man asks how much it would cost to go up in the bi-plane. "£50 for 10 minutes" was the reply. He thinks then says its too dear. The pilot then says that he'll take the couple up in the plane for free provided they don't utter a word for the duration of the flight, otherwise they'll be charged the full rate. The couple agreed and went up for a really wild ride. After they'd landed the pilot said "I have to congratulate you for not making a sound....you are an extremely brave man" "Maybe so" said the man "but I gotta say I nearly yelled when the wife fell out"

Thanks guys and gals for the input. I'd previously looked at Createyourplate and personallyyours who quote net prices so by the time you add on vat and the Dvla fees you're talking £566 as against the Dvla price that I was originally looking at of £499 all in. V999BAS is cheaper at £399 but then its making the car look a bit older - think I'd rather go with the X prefix which is correct for the cars age and imho it looks better as a number. Will give it some further thought.....not sure if it's 'personalised' enough to warrant the £499 outlay ? although it does tie in nicely with my username..........shall I, shan't I.....decisions decisions.

Have seen that X999BAS is available albeit for £499 although that seems to be very much the going rate - this would retain a prefix appropriate to the cars year of registration and is fairly well in keeping with my site name. I accept that if I left the ambulance service or changed my site name its not gonna be as relevant but hey cross that bridge when we come to it .There are a lot of other BAS registrations available but none of them seem as appropriate or are very expensive! Would welcome any positive thoughts on this - thanks. Well thats it then - gone ahead and bought it [] .............................can't afford to go out now lol
