PPP is a form of healthcare package - have it fitted and you'll feel good forever [] Can anyone explain, in laymans terms please, why this upgrades not suitable for my 2000 classic - is there a real difference between a 00 and an 01? Would love to have it done but the car's a year too old [:'(]

You'd think they'd run this sort of thing on a weekend? Got to go out first thing but might be able to get along later - in which case if you're def going Markie I'll call you to see where you're all sitting -
Only just noticed that it's missing.....has it been gone long?

Like that Baz although I still stand by my comments about whether there is the need to have Peles contact details.

An old cowhand rides into town on a hot, dry, dusty day. The sheriff watched from his chair in front of the saloon as the cowboy wearily dismounted and tied his horse to the rail a few feet in front of him. "Howdy, stranger" "Howdy, sheriff" The cowboy then moved slowly to the back of his horse, lifted its tail and placed a big kiss where the sun don't shine. He dropped the horses tail back down and headed off towards the swinging doors of the saloon. "Hold on there stranger" said the sheriff "but did I just see what I think I saw ? " "Reckon you did sheriff. I got some mighty chapped lips" "....and does that cure them ?" "Hell nope, but it keeps me from lickin''em"

Deano's doing mine on my 00 classic in a couple of weeks.........his price was better than Eric Falces

Agree with you Ian......afraid the middle car looks as if its on stilts.....sorry Baz. Also would still maintain that we don't need Peles email address on there - we're pointing people in the direction of the sidc site where they'll find the Kent forum and again. if Pele changes her email address the cards next to useless. Perhaps drop the remaining wording down a little ?

Is mine a year early I wonder???? If my 2000 x reg qualifies this might be the way forward?
-
He has that effect on most people []

The vehicle layout on the bottom card looks ok - perhaps the cars could be a bit darker? Otherwise must just be you Ian. Perhaps Baz could post a piccy up with the shortened wording and we'd get a better idea of the end product?
-
Sounds good to me [Y] Looks like we agreed on something [Y] Baz, you need this wording on your picture, unless anyone got any objections ?

Response from Eurotunnel.........for 15 cars travelling out at 07:50 and returning 21:50 - £48 per car .........for travel out as above but returning say 18:50 Sunday - £52 per car We'd only be looking to save around £4/5 per car and imho not worth the extra hassle involved. -
I think if you could simplify the wording and add the photos you took at Brands, jobs a good'un Baz m8 [Y]

I agree ......we must all travel on the same journeys and theres unlikely to be 15 if some are intending to stop overnight. At the moment theres only 13 names on the list so allowing for drop-outs I don't know that we'd have 15 going. As regards 'all meeting up to pay' this from past experience is a non-starter....you only need to look at old threads to see how difficult it is to get £10 in for stickers! Really don't think its worth all the hassle for a discount thats unlikely to be more than about £5/8 per car. Last year we set out the precise shuttles we were travelling on and those that wanted to go were left to book their own passage - worked last year and imho probably the easiest way. Will however post up Eurotunnels response. -
Think this was ok but perhaps a bit 'wordy' . Best to keep it short and to the point...........Hello, you have been spotted by a Kent Subaru driver. Log on to our website at www.sidc.co.uk and say hello. Imho I don't think theres any need to give Peles email address. After all if thats ever changed the card is going to be wrong, whereas the sidc site would remain a more permanent contact.

I made enquiries when I first posted the thread and have been told that we need 15 or more vehicles. Recollect that we were looking at about £5 discount last year. Downside though is that I believe one person has to book and pay for it all and I'm not keen on paying for everyone, running about chasing up and collecting money then have people drop out and trying to get their money in. A lot of hassle Dan for a £5 discount, although will email Eurotunnel again to see exactly how the group booking system works as far as paying for it goes etc. As far as stopping overnight , camping b & b whatever , I don't know if we'd still be able to get the £49 fare since its my belief thats the day return fare? Again will make enquiries and report back. -

Job done - lights on again [] Had to larf when I popped into Lessness autos for the bulbs - said to spotty yoof "have you got a couple of no plate lights please?" Reply........."how many you want?" Given that I'd asked for a couple it gave him a clue.....perhaps I should have said 3 although he'd have probably said 'sorry we only sell them in pairs' [] -
was i in halfrauds (getting some redex to flush out my sons petrol tank and system) Hope it's all OK. Saw you parked up at the Girls School. Thought he still had an asbo for that sort of thing
