Thats fine by me - run out for an hour and stop for a spot to eat [pi] or is it a packed lunch? If we got littl'uns perhaps we could head to the seaside - places like Dymchurch and St Marys Bay are not as busy as some and we can get there within the hour and theres decent parking, good sandy beaches, assuming the tides out. Theres a small funfair at Dymchurch and even the Romney Hythe railway if we're brave enough lol Theres a decent fish and chip shop / restaurant at Sandgate or the Pilot at Dungeness. Anyone got a football , cricket bat , kite etc ?

We'd already spoken to him about 10 and he said he was in Reading - presumeably he'd stopped for breakfast on the way there, had a cuppa when he got on site, went to the loo and decided that was it and set of for home [] He's obviously not signed on here tonight to create the illusion that he was too tired after such a day []

There really isn't a great deal I can say - the car looks absolutely stunning - sadly the deeper the shine the deeper the door dings but hey they can soon be sorted. So, a HUGE thank you to Dean who worked tirelessly from 0930 through to just gone 6 tonight, without any assistance whatsoever from me. We all know the amount of time Dean puts into the appearance of his own car and the awards he wins for those efforts but having seen him working today I do not in any way doubt that he paid any less attention to mine as he does his own. We should of course all bear in mind that Dean has today devoted all of his time and efforts in aid of the Richard Burns Charity and I really don't know what else to say without embarrassing him further. But once again, a HUGE THANK YOU M8. Also thanks to Sarah for making tea ( I even got out of doing that ) and to Chloe for providing the ongoing entertainment [] If anyone needs to buy Sarah a present for her birthday / Christmas ...............she needs a watch [] Sadly, the front of the car is all covered in flies from the journey home up the M2 / A2 . I tried hard to steer round them and surprised they didn't just slide off that oh soooooooooo shiny bonnet but I'm wondering if it was the creosote fumes that got them []

Coming back from Sevenoaks this afternoon and just pulled on to the M25 and have to admitted I was being law-abiding [:$] when this basic looking VW GTi comes up the o/s lane clearly up for a bit of a race - he screams off presumeably convinced he'd taken a scalp as I didn't chase him. He obviously didn't realise that I let him go as I'd seen a police Volvo steaming after him blue lights and all - as I was by now in the o/s lane it seemed pointless waving as he was getting out his car to talk to said policeman [][]

Christ - thats seems harsh! the wife wouldnt drive it and hated it, swapped the wrong thing in my opinion, but I benefitted Thats a result.....you ended up with his wife? Perhaps I misread that []

Second time its been spotted - where was I as I didn't see you. Car hasn't been washed for 10 days although the paint does have a metallic edge to it which makes it shiny in the sun.
