Getting there slowly, been busy at work and waiting for my new front wings to arrive so i can fit the blob eye front end to the car, just got to pipe in the intercooler and fit injectors then will be ready for the Jolly Green Monster to work his magic

Had mine doing that for months and when I did the fault code check it came up with all sorts of sensors lol Checked in the engine bay and it was a split boost pipe - changed it and the light went out lol, so check all the pipes before you start changing sensors - it might take a couple of times before you find the problem tho, both Tony and I looked in the engine bay several times prior to me finding the split hose

I wrapped the downpipe my advice is wear protective clothing lol As far as I can remember it was an 80ft roll which just about did the job with about 10" left afterwards. As long as it's not cast iron then the pipe will be fine and yes it was the 2" width - don't forget the ties to go with it and do them every few wraps or you get too far and it loosens up and unravels : At the moment it's looking like I'm going to be getting a new front mount lol

If it's the earth which it could well be if there's no sound coming from the pump, then you will only have to take the bottom part of the seat off and reconnect the wires outside the connector that is already there - mine had got so hot at one point it looked like it had caught fire as the underneath of the seat was all melted!!!

I have some that size here lol was given the wrong size for my son and never got round to sending them back I didn't get up 'till very late (pm <cough>) so now way I was going to make the meet lol, plus I've hurt my back again and the thought of driving 100+ miles in the RA was not very appealing no matter how many painkillers I took Looks like you all had fun though

It's highly unlikely for all 4 coil packs to go at once, have you checked that the fuel pump is priming? (Sit in car with doors closed and turn key to on position w and you will hear it whirring) If not then try checking the earth cable that goes to it this is a common fault with imports it seems... (lift up rear seat and on driver side there is a connector block with the wires in it, it's the thick black one from what I can remember.....) mine was burnt out and had had the live reconnected but the earth had been left in it and had just carried on deteriorating leaving me stranded in Asda car park lol

Well I fitted my quickshift to the RA, and it makes a big difference the gears feel a lot more precise and I didn't have any help either although I kept getting interrupted to go help Tony fit the intercooler Still trying to get the lights in the switches to come on at the right time tho lol, thenit's taking my water temp guage apart to stick the needle back on....

You only get clamped if you don't either buy petrol, use the shop or the cash machine lol I already asked the man.... And so much for Tony ' I drive it really carefully when I borrow it" !!!

Guess who will probably be getting the cutting job as well as bumper removal as Tony seems to think all he needs is a hammer to remove it :lol: And yes the down pipe was a pleasure to do, not! I'm still itching from that lol - note to self check what th heat wrap is made of and wear clothing and gloves to suit accordingly....
