I tend to keep it about 70 because I can't hear myself think otherwise lol, unless of course someone comes alongside and winds me up then give it enough of a boot to get past them then go back to sitting at 70 lol. Can't afford the fuel bill otherwise - I also only run mine on V power, it ran awful on Tesco's. If it's not been de limited you can only go up to 112mph anyway, mines still limited at the mo, as I was advised to upgrade the oil pump before I did that. Apparently the RA oil pump has a tendency to have a valve get stuck open and floods the engine with oil then a nice rebuild is needed. Another thing to check if it's hesitating, and what was the main cause of my problems, is the earth to the fuel pump which is located under the back seat. Check the connector box, mine had melted at some point in its life and although the power wire had been reconnected outside the box, the earth had been left in and had been slowly deteriorating which was causing the hesitating, finally leading to complete loss of power. There seems to be some confusion with the events list. The confusion being that people seem to think they have to attend all the shows listed lol. The list is for you all to see whats going on, then choose which shows you would like to attend and/or organise a stand for. Please advise me if you would like to organise the KentScoobies Club stand at any of the shows listed, then we will get a thread started and your name will be put alongside that event.

It's that time again, and as the 3rd Friday is a bit close to Xmas I thought it would be better for everyone if I moved it forward, hence the 14th instead of 21st. Right OK, I've read through this thread and there are no helpful comments whatsoever on here. I suggest you BOTH remove all posts other than the original post or failing that, Naz please start a new thread and this one will be deleted. 20withascooby I suggest you get your backside down to one of our meets before you start mouthing off at people on the forums , yes Naz has got an unfortunate number plate but he made the effort to come along to a meet and introduce himself which is more than you have done. I've seen his car and for someone with no knowlege of scoobys a few months ago, which he was honest enough to say I might add, he has done a great job of getting this car restored to its former glory and he hasn't just let someone else do it, he has done some of it himself, which is a lot more than most people do - the last owner should be flippin' ashamed of themselves for letting the car get into that state in the first place! And lastly no matter how it is worded I will not tolerate racism against any KentScoobies member - we all have one thing in common and that is our passion for owning and modifying these cars, so please keep to the topic. Oh, and answer to your coolant problem Naz, try the pipe on the back of the expansion tank, thats where mine was leaking from and mine was dry every day. It might be an idea to upgrade the tank just to be sure there isn't a small split somewhere thats not apparently obvious - I have to fill mine up everyday at the mo as I have the sensor problem lol so my tank is dry every morning Try Jap Performance Parts they are very reasonable with their prices.
