I'd go with what he said, sound very similar to what happened to my wagon. It would cut out and after a few miutes would start up and run fine for a couple of months and then for no reason cut out.....................thought it might be a knackered fuel pump so had a Walbro 255 fitted. tw months later cut out again. Any hows after chatting with the local specialist and folks on the Hants forum we decided to by-pass the fuel pump side the wiring in the immoboliser and ran fine after that

Ah ah retaining pins in the front calipers are rusted in...................taking it to uncle Len at S4U at the end of the month.

who S4U or Grade A?

Not sure about Surrey way but you could try Subaru4you here in Newbury for a rebuild depending on your budget. Or grade A subaru do version 7/8 sti engines for 2K
