<< I am not so sure now. I think my car handles great as it is. Do i really need to uprate the certain parts??? Do i need it to handle better???? I goes quick, handles great and stops brill so do i relly anymore. Think i'll get a turbo timer instead unless someone can prove me wrong.. >> Hi Peter, Have spoken to several people on this and on the new age cars generally they recommend rear anti roll bar and drop links only - no caster kit, no anti lift etc as many people don't know what the car needs so just fit the lot. On a classic they recommended lots of stuff as the shell is a bit like Jelly but the new age cars are known to have a very stiff shell/chassis anyway. Get the rear drop links done, proper geo set-up and prodrive (or other) springs if you don't have them already and you'll be handling just great. Then start fitting any other bits like strut braces, front anti-roll bar, front drop links etd after you know what the bits you already have do. An example given to me was of an Impreza with the full Whiteline kit on it - everything available (except coilovers etc). They said it was totally terrible on the Whiteline settings but great on the Prodrive ones, or the standard Subaru ones - they thought the Prodrive set-up was the best for neutral handling and all the other toe-in, toe out type combinations only if you wanted the back end to step out, massive oversteer etc or were always driving on perfect tarmac. If you like it as is, do very little to change it. Brian

Was looking at it outside the local Honda dealer yesterday and also at all the pictures on the Honda website - looks very good, nice to see something different for a change. Like the triangular exhaust tailpipes too. Try getting them from Kwik Fit... Brian

<< Sorry forgot to say ........ " Brian !!! you're a lazy git ...... wash it yerself !!!!! >> Cheers - - it has been a long week, too dark, too cold, not in until too late and I am too not in the house ever!!!!! First time in at least 4 years I have used any kind of car wash system, other than the old hose and bucket special. Feel a bit of a failure!!! Now I feel cheated... (anyone like the amateur dramatics there - had to add some as the forum seems to have left the drama queen persona alone this week ) Brian

Should say that - HOORAY!!!!!!! - my car is clean at last - it has driven another few hundred miles since the run on Sunday and finally after I could no longer touch it or get in and out without getting covered in oily residue - the dirt was almost now black (on a silver car) up to the window line and even the roof and top of the spoiler were getting dirty. Also could not see out of the windows and mirrors anymore. Ridiculous. I actually took the dirt off the number plates with an ice scraper!!! Unfortunately, due to the pressure of time, I took the car, for the first time ever, to the local Auto shine (equivalent) place - the guy, hlafway through washing, knocked on the window and said "This is really filthy - it looks like you have been rallying it tthrough a field". I told him he was not far off it. £6 later, after a wash, hot wax, and wheels clean - they spent 20 minutes as he said "nice car mate, I'll make sure it is well cleaned", the car then rumbled back on the road...to get manky all over again with the lorry in front of me Anway, big up to "Easi Wash" in Main Street, Polmont, Falkirk. Buy 5 washes then you get a free wash (for the car)! Brian

Swissol is THE BUSINESS - best purchase I made 2 years ago for my Impreza - still loads left and half the wax too and it has been applied a dozen plus times easily. Also use Meguairs, BUT it is NOT as good for a black car as Swissol - leaves oily mess in the reflection (I am talking about NXT was here compared to Swissol Samurai wax - maybe an unfair comparison). And the only problem with products like Turtle Wax and Autoglym is they are polishes, not waxes and as such lightly cut the paint and are clay based so leave black rubber trim etc with white streaks - none of that from Swissol. MUCH easier to apply and remove. NXT on my silver car and the wife's though is fine. Works even better on my guitars and my amp Brian

I wiped my number plates tonight but BY GOD ALMIGHTY - the car, if possible, is now twice as dirty as it was after the run on Sunday - I have NEVER had a car so dirty in all my life. Almost tempted to write the old "If only my wife was this dirty" on the back Brian
