Well done guys. Just caught this thread as I've been working all weekend. Had I not, and had seen the thread, I would have been there 100%.

    Brian.

I've got my original white 15's with nearly new TOYO T1-R's? Sale only though.

  4. Been there before with Elephant - still have one car insured with them.  THEY MUST GIVE YOU ONE WEEK TO FIND ALTERNATIVE INSURANCE - THAT IS THE LAW!!!  Been there - done that - they would not cover an electronic boost controller but would cover everything else.

Time to phone Keith Michaels or A-Plan.  For standard cars (or relatively) they are great IMHO.

  5. Firmer pedal feel from the lines.

Stick with trying Alyn - he'll get you the best price on the lines.  Get the OE discs elsewhere other than Subaru - there are loads of engineering companies online who make them - try ebay - you'll link a few of them there.

Another good place I bought my standard rear discs from recently was Camskill - cost me about £50 odd quid delivered for the pair.

  6. I'd go option one if you are on a budget and not too heavy on brakes - Ferrodo DS2500 pads or Pagid RS 4.2.1 or even EBC Red Stuff Ceramic.  DOn't bother with Subaru pads.

Next step - get Goodridge braided lines and new 5.1 fluid fitted - less than £100 all in for the stuff.
