  1. Ritualistic killing and inauguration ceremony followed by a group orgy, led by the regional organiser. Thinking about that as a possibility - it's time I joined the MLR Seriously - general chat, a (diet) coke or 3 and getting to know other folk, looking at their cars and wondering why you have managed to spend so little modifying your car so far Brian

  5. << SIDC stand looked great - althought the mondeo club did give us a run for our money and yes Swiggi's car was shiny, it gets more love than me (looking for sympathy here) ... >> That is bad news - the car was manky with dust - if that';s the love he gives to his car then God help you! Brian
  6. The cost of admission for me was fully justified - it was free - about the right price The day was really just a big advert for the dealers there and for Knockhill. £5 would have been enough. Nice to see the works Ferrari on track - and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang too! Although some of the cars given track time over others (eg us) were a bit poor. Was better than I expected - I also have the red forehead syndrome ! Brian
  7. Good event today and the weather was not bad for KH - just baltic as usual! Nice to meet some new faces and some (very) old ones too AWARDS AS FOLLOWS: 1st prize in the "Show and Shine" goes to "The Swigg" for exceptional polishing skills (particularly the old bit of cloth polishing a couple of bits of plastic in the engine bay ). However, the Sahara desert-like dust storm added a nice powder coating not normally seen in concours events. 1st prize in the "Top Secret - My car repels dirt while everyone else's car get filthy without me doing any polishing" section goes to Del aka Scoobay. He's found more than one use for pledge! "Best parking on a flag pole stand" goes to Spooks. "SIDC car of the show" goes, I am afraid, to me - the Primera was warm after hours at Knockhill - that wins it! Nice to see so many set's of similar 19's - I feel quite unique in having Subaru wheels! Prizes will be awarded and paid for by the owners of the winning cars - choose your own prize. Brian
