Hi Keith, Wax Wizard did not so I did not really. I put some cling film over the distributor cap, alternator grille and battery terminals but took it off when the detailing spray went on! Just don't blast the water at the electrics and it will be fine It copes with heavy rain alright - and give it a good run at the end - the instructions say 20 minutes/miles... Brian

Tyre wear good if you don't kill it everywhere. My rear standard tyres have done 25,000 miles with a lot of hard driving and a track night. Front got 20,000 miles - a miracle for the car really! VERY reliable - no issues. Well worth the money. Brian
