  7. I've ripped all mine out - it was "pure p*sh" as they say in Glasgow! I changed it for a very good Pioneer Head Unit with Infinity components, brown bread sound insulation in the doors and deadening in the boot too. The standard components are VERY poor (8 watts per channel on the Kenwood head unit IIRC). BUT the sound in the Subaru in general is poor - it is not a good car to get a pure audio sound in at all. Brian
  8. You should at least get a new battery under warranty. After it has been discharged a few times, it will not be as good anyway. Don't know what the solution is - some people seem to have linked it to the drain from the tracker unit? Good luck though, Brian
  9. Good news Keith - did you get a new one or does it looks as "if it's blowing dear - honest... leave it to me I'll get it sorted" How's life? Brian
  10. McCartney's? Good bodyshop - but mainly insurance - that's where the money is - you no doubt got an insurance company's price. Julie's uncle Hugh McCartney owns the chain. He has done some work for me in the past. Brian
  11. And beyond!!! More comebacks than The King
  12. Good news, May have you destroying the environment and terrorising old ladies on roundabouts again shortly! Brian

  17. Congrats Imy 4WD all the way Brian.
  18. I had some work done by McCartney's a few years ago. They are a good company. The best of a bunch of insurance approved repairers. Hugh McCartney (the owner) is my wife's Uncle (he has an unusual office feature ). Brian
  19. It is an amazing and CLEAN car too. Feature in this months' Scooby Magazine - taken at a previous Dastek rolling road day. UK500 - superb! Brian
