  1. JESUS! - I saw him about 4 months ago and still laugh at the times that we all had at the "old school" SIDC runs. Boy did he love to drive that P1! He will be sorely missed. How does everyone available feel about attending the funeral? (after getting clearance from Kate) as I know he loved Scoobs and bikes and I think the more there to remember him, the better! RIP M8 Russell
  2. Fitting is an extra £60 on top (although for you we'll call it a round £100) Russell
  3. Don't tell me your not happy M8 Shame, it really did "polish up nicely" Russell
  4. Working on it M8! Russell
  5. << They could do it but Russell a.k.a WUZ will do it cheaper Takes about an hour and the downpipe had to be cool enough to work on.... Remember you might need a CEL fix. Mine was okay for about 4 days until the CEL came on. Time for a remap to take full advantage Cheers Cal >> EH? Takes little under an hour to take off eveything around it (inc heatshield) before you even think of getting bolts off the turbo. Job is 2 hours in total (inc cutting the Heatshield) Russell ps - I'm available if Wallace is not able to do it.
  6. << hahahahahahahahaha. i think its on its way already, i got it fitted about 4 weeks ago. when i made changes to the car i said "oh yeah i wont be going on the strip" that lasted a long time £10 it goes by the end of the year. >> Should I start looking out the engine hoist then Chris? Russell
  7. Let me now exactly what you need M8 and I'll get you a price. Russell ps - can also fit them for you as well...............................£65 for a 3-gauge setup.
  8. Glad you said it M8, I was really going to try and say nothing.....................but that's just not me. Glad to have been here to help! Russell
  9. Bad news! Russell
  10. I'll be home for either day on November but offshore for the October date Russell
  11. Got your message, see you at Marc's when you get out of work Russell
  12. Cheers Mark but there's no need for them. 10 minutes under a 3 ton high-lift Jack will have it sorted. Eddie - I'll call you about 1pm Russell
  13. I have fitted DBA4000's with DS2500 to a customers car and I felt, for the money, that it was a good conbination using the OE 4-pots Russell
  14. AAH! What a gent. I'm not sure if Eddie has decided who he wants to do it, I've, just like you, offered my services. Russell
  15. Eddie - P1 has only I Cat - in the downpipe. The Centre section has the outer shell to hold a Cat but doesn't have one in it. Russell
  16. Get a Job over here...................?WHY! That means I would have to see the wife EVERY night and perform "nuptuals" - SOD THAT This way I get 6 months off a year! Russell
  17. Craig (AFAIK) still work sin Badentoy Park in Portlethen, well out of your way I believe. Your living in B of D are you? Have you tried to see if Gavin at Wallace Per4mance can do it for you? I could pop round tonight and sort it out in 15 mins. I'll bring the stands and jacks, etc. Russell
  18. Somebody call? Russell ( home as of 0955 this morning) ps - call me on 01224 749972 and leave a message Eddie, or I can pop round your work and chat to you there (assuming your still at the building on Rubislaw?)
  19. FANNY! Russell
  20. I'd be interested, assuming I'm not banned from there Russell
  21. << Btw, are you man enough to take back some of last weeks comments? It wasn't even comparing the same car!!! >> in order that they were asked: Yes I am M8, after all you still have something of mine that I'll need to get back so, I'm taking back SOME of the comments. Yes it was the same age, type, model, gearbox ratios, performance parts..................the only difference was in the mapping. BUT it is good to see that Gavin and yourself can now mix it with the big guns of Subaru tuning. You've proven that now. HAPPY? Russell
  22. Might be Interested Cal, but it'll need to be circa 61K a year for me to be better off than the current package I am on here in India! Russell
  23. Russs - you beat me to it. It's just to keep the Oil Pressure up more than anything else, they are just trying to keep your engine safe whilst it is in their possession. Quite decent of them, actually. Russell
  24. << Built and mapped at WP incidentally >> With a little help from Agra Engineering in Dundee Nice to see some of Gavin's and Russell's work pay off. They really are producing a lot of good figures for a lot of people cars. Russell ps - If Dastek was run at 24 and ABerdeen at 18, surely Aberdeen would have given better figure, especially if the advance multipliers were all at maximum (16)?. Could have been a loading issue down at Datek though. pps - so long as the car runs well and you are happy, who cares what the bhp is?
  25. Oi..............Sarah............................NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! To be honest, and with reference to the majority of your driving, which is driving round town, a paddle clutch is a bit#h! Most users of them are running high BHP on a track car or drag car. These type of clutches are "on" or "off" so town driving is a bi#ch! 'coz you have no real clutch control. If your running the car with no more power than now, use an organic one. I've fitted Organic clutches on 310-320hp cars and they've done 20K now with no slip. Choice is yours but for the everyday driving you and "the other half" do, stick to an organic clutch. Russell
