I'm in! That is assuming that it happens before I go back offshore to India at the end of the month! Russell

Think it might be in Westhill/Elrick but not sure, (seen this car on the Kingswells-Westhill road quite a lot whilst I'm going back to Knigswells) It is priced at the top end of the market but it has had a new engine put in so that is reason enough to hold the price where it is. Carl - lets not go into the details of what I paid for mine eh Free bttt by the way! Russell

I'll try to make it this time All depends on whether the new work visa gets here or not. Russell

New pads are anywhere from £50 -£100 depending on what type you get and what needs you require to be met. Russell

Ive got a set of 4-pot calipers, disks and pads coming off my MY00 RA in the next week (AP's going back on) £230 for the lot if you want them (pads have about 200 miles left in them!). Fitting is an extra £50 (including full bleed of brakes to new fluid). Would recommend getting some braided hoses as well (£50) Total will be £280 supplied or £340 fitted for all of the above! << Maybe worth getting your alignment done again? It is possible to change camber a fraction on the Scoob's although not by much. Put it this way, it SHOULDN'T rub, unless you have the thing lowered to the ground. >> Trust me, his car is STILL "dropped to the deck", but not currently through choice Any news on the Tein EDFC then Simbo? Let just assume this is a 2000 P1. This means that the o2 sensor is nearly 5 years old. If it starts to die, the ECU will read less than the Stoichiometric 0.7-0.8 volts for off-boost driving, think the car is running lean and add more fuel. If the Lambda dies alltogether the ECU sees 0 volts and to overfuels to compensate as it is not sure of the AFR so it plays it safe. This is an option, especially on 5 year old cars. A quick check with a wideband Lambda will be fine, AFR check using existing Lambda will work as well but not as good as a wideband. Russell

Yep! mine looked pretty similar after the 4 mile track drive to the car park at Fetteresso and later up Durris to Stage 6 We were 10 ft from the 90 degree right that the Nova decided to lose it on and missed us Just! Great day! Russell

Mintex 1144 pads - £70 Fitting - £20 Total - £90 Russell ps - can travel to you and fit them for an extra £20
-
OK - who is going to the rally tomorrow? Fancy meeting up for the last few stages (Durris?) or first thing at the Castlegate? Don't want to be the only SIDC "fool" there first thing Russell

I might know of someone that can do you a VERY good deal on H&S exhausts. Nice note, not too boomy on the motorway and 25 year guarantee! The same people can sort out a good price for fitting as well ( if your near Aberdeen) I wonder who I am talking about Failing that, Grant at AWD can help you. Russell

You'll need to buy sensor for Oil Pressure and Oil Temp if you get the SECS (make the whole thing expensive!) but it can tell you the IDC, Water temp, Knock Correction, but these kinds of info are overkill for most people unless you really need them! Russell
-
OK Robin - keep me in mind for all yopur bits as I need several items from you by the sounds of it! Russell ps - I'll assume you'll no longer be interested in the AP 6-pots
-
Robin - I was holding onto the KnockLink for you until your return but now.....WTF! Do you still want it as is or shall I send you another new one that has not been converted, along with the money you gave me? Either way, its not a problem! Russell ps - first offer/refusal on the Hyperflow? PLEASE!

So Come On Then, Decide The Fate Of The Fridge...
WUZ replied to Carl Davey's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Carl - at least give me first refusal on the wheels! Might be worth keeping it as I know of an STi6 RA V-Limited that will be up for sale in August (new job with company car about that time!) Russell -
Robin - PMSL Looks like I might be home for this if the office are in "SCAPEGOAT" mode show off the "new dash" too!) Not happy but............F**K EM! Time for legal action after Friday methinks! Russell

Harvey - I think drb5 is trying to say that too many people in the know (Bob Rawle for one!) are saying that the 255 pump will overpower the standard reg and cause problems. If your going for over 320 on the P1 it would be prudent to change the pump and the regulator! Russell
-
I'd like to know too! Need a Vodaphone unlocked so I can use my Orange Sim Card in it! Russell
-
looks like the car will NOT be ready for tomorrow so I'll catch a lift wit KeithP or Marc (if it's OK?) Russell

AWW! SHUCKS! Glad I could help M8! Russell ps - shame you and Natalie can't make it to Edzell on Sunday - methinks your a scardy-cat
-
Either that or the Shell garage next to Macro at Altens (quick trip to Burger King as its only next door!) Marc you cannot her "her indoors" as I remember the discussion Angela and I had only involved MACDONALDS! (HA HA) Russell
-
Cool - so long as you are OK with it Jon, I'll carry on (you did start your GB first!) Dorikin, yes M8, I have no problem fitting them to a CELICA (did a set onto a Pulsar last week!), but with the HUD, you need to buy the sensors separate (AFAIK?) as they come with the gauges! and are expensive on their own. Russell
