  1. NICE! Gumball - I really have to thank the gods there is only one of you! This ranks even higher than the "birdcage cold air kit" Russell
  2. Yes I did M8, I hope you'll like the answer Russell
  3. black may or may look ad-on but I think it looks great as it is. Plus, there are no colourmatching issues aftrer the winter when the stone chips and winter abuse required fresh paint. 1 tin of black spray paint and a warm area to work in and you'll have a fresh-looking lip spoiler ready for summer "pimpin" homie Russell
  4. << all my mods have a special place in my heart >> PMSL Russell
  5. WELL I NEVER! - I was going to offer my driveway as well but if your going to be like that THEN FORGET IT............................................................................... Russell
  6. In all honesty, prodrive setting give less understerr by adding camber to the front wheels! Downside is that the insides af the tyres will be down t o the canvas in 11-13000 miles. To get the best from tyour car, fit springs, get mid level geometry ( more camber than now but less than prodrive) Then fit Rear ARB, Droplinks and ALK. Car will handle like a dream! I think Boyakasha still has his ALK for sale. Never even went on his car! Russell
  7. OK M8, let me know when you've found out what you need and remember to ask the questions I gave you. This should help you decide if buyin new is a cheaper option. Russell
  8. Leave it BLACK M8, looks menacing! Russell
  9. Steve, trust me.........."love" is ALL he gets to feel from me I touch goats's Russell
  10. Cross-drilled rotors will crack around the holes with prolonged track use especially in a heavier car (read 4WD Scooby!) but so far they have been OK. It depends how brutal you are on the brakes. Cal - I am sure DBA do a grooved only disk? If not, Ian at Godspeed can supply me grooved disks for your car in a 1 peice or 2 peice design for sensible money! Russell

  15. Nice answer Andy, I wonder how some of the "big number" talkers would react to that. Russell ps - I have 540bhp and cannot be bothered to keep wasting people in their scoobs so I don't bother anymore
  16. Don't know what you mean M8? My car is only running a few "mild" mods. HONEST! What's a GT30 Russell
  17. << Dave I do not disagree with Russ.. >> Yes you bloody do! All the time << This is just my personal opinion, and from experience lately in taking on a few classics.....that may or may not have been modified as they have all been unsuccesful >> That's because you aint come near me and mine yet! << Not that i dont think for one minute that one day i will get the ar5e ripped right off my car from one of the more seriously modded cars, but up till now it is yet to happen >> The countdown has started, GET READY! Russell ps - I added a few "tricks" to Chris' car as well, don't think you'll find that is runs the above figures, "MAYBE" a little higher
  18. Neither suits me really as I am not back from India until Friday 10th. HMM! Rebellious change of plan to middle of month meet? Russell
  19. If you want over 400 bhp but less than 430, get either Bigger injectors (650cc's), or run a higher fuel pressure (with an FSE fuel reg) Russell

  21. bigger power means 400 +. ECU can control the fuel flow rate but if you stay with 565cc injectors (Newage STi size) then you might need to up the fuel pressure to have enough out at the top end (ie, beyond fuel pumps ability to flow enough at standard pressure). Remember this is for 400+, less than that and you don't need a regulator. Also, upgrade the injectors to 650cc's and you won't need a regulator. You will need a remap though! Russell
  22. Never mind that guys, I'mm ou there waiting for the "big" cyclone to hit us! We'll be going offline, computer wise, in about 20 minutes and then we just disconnect the BOP's, hold on and ride it out! Russell (putting head between legs and kissing my A@@E goodbye!)
  23. )EUC controlthe voltage to the fuel pump on a Newage ( hence controls flow rate into Injectors, and so unless your going for BIG POWER! you don't really need to fit one
  24. OK Frank, no problems Russell
  25. TRANSMISSION LOSSES ARE DIFFERENT FOR EVERY TYPE OF CAR BUT THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM ON SCOOBIES IS ABOUT 28%. Russell ps - didn't mean to shout.the bloody computers on these American run drillships are always set for using capital letters!
