  1. HERE WE GO AGAIN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>[:#] Russell ps - my money's on the blue one![]
  2. Aberdeen Trailers to loads of pickups round the UK. As long as the car is driveable ie, they can drive it onto the trailer, they'll do it for you.....and at a very good price I might ad. I have used them several times for job round the country. Russell
  3. Bin the Baileys...................seriously! RIGHT NOW! Idle issues and leaking on boost are all on their way to your car very soon with this kind of Dump Valve! 2nd-hand forge for your car will cost you around 60 pounds. Hardly earth-shattering in price. If this seems too much for you...........you've bought the wrong kind of car! Russell
  4. Ac!d - your making me feel guilty M8, seeing as I am going to "steal" all this money off you! Russell ps - doesn't mean you'll be getting the bits any cheaper![:#]
  5. Craig...First appointment! Right now I am taking booking number 10 for October...but I am sure I can squeeze you in. Fitment of all of the above will be NO PROBLEM! I'll check the schedule and get back to you on a date ASAP after my return (next Friday). So I'll assume you want the AVC-R then? thought so[] Russell ps - JC's map is a very special one and may not be to your liking/driving style. Check with Andy and he'll see you right!
  6. Do you commute via a car - NO Do you take your Scooby - NO How many miles do you commute to work - 5987 miles EACH WAY! How long does it take you - FOREVER....................well 11 hours at least! Do you ever take a long way home - This way is long enough, thankyou! Russell
  7. Who said the brakes were from an '05? Russell
  8. Brakes and discs will fit straight on M8 - Front hub on the WRX and STI on a newage are the same. As already said, Alyn @ AS Performance will sort you out. Fitting sorted? Russell
  9. I think, to be honest, that if this guy is genuine (and not a hoax newbie made up on someone else's part) then we should all give him a chance to prove that he and his car is as good as he says. 1 - Go to an INDEPENDANT R/R (Star, Jap Performance, etc) and show a R/R plot. 2 - Go to Crail, meet up with us, have a laugh (if you can) and then promptly beat us on the 1/4 mile. Finally when you ar$e is handed to you on a plate by all concerned (JC, Craig, Acid, Kev, Me {and i don't even have an engine in mine}) - and it will - then you'll accept all the abuse that will ensue and leave us alone to have our fun! Russell ps - good luck m8!
  10. As always[] - you can remove them if you don't want them on there M8.....I won't mind[:'(] Russell
  11. Too right it's noisy............I heard you coming to the house when you were 1 mile away! Sounds good though[] Russell
  12. Nice choice of colour m8! Russell
  13. GO ON ANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get in there my son! YOU TELL 'EM! Squirrel - I have had the complete Wideband Lambda & Det Cans setup for over 2 years now and have used it up here on lots of cars in Aberdeen. If anyone in ABZ would like their car checked then I am happy to oblige. If the number of requests goes through the roof then I may have to charge a fee (5 pounds) to cover the 170+ pounds cost for a new sensor (as they only have a limited lifespan) but that is still cheaper than a new engine!!!! Russell
  14. I remember diagnosing a similar issue with Bing s car about a year ago! Never one to miss an opportunity to help a friend............that's just Bings good nature. Another brownie point to Dunc @ Hypertech, yet another man who does it for the "team", rather than for the money! Russell
  15. PMSL - this guy will never go to an ABZ meet - he'd he crucified! Russell
  16. Captain Fantastic - whilst we all will agree that 12.12 is an impressive time for an STi8.................you'll appreciate that unless you can prove it, your just another overexuberant (sp?) newbie! Prove it and I am 100% sure you will have the respect of us "seasoned veterans" on SIDC. Russell
  17. Mr Mac - we'll get stage 2 complete and I'll give you all the spec you need on EXACTLY how to get the time that you'll embarress CF with. Craigs time was with Full tank of fuel, 50kgs of subs and windows fully down ie, not fully trying. Ill assume you can prove your time with a date and timesheet number and run number for your time? It'd be good to see your 0-60' time and Terminal. Russell
  18. 'Fraid I have to agree with Craig here Peter, you should expect better service than that after spending so much money with them. I had one car last year that blew a head gasket about 2 months after I had fitted a "tuning package" to it. Guy called me at 21:00, he got it towed to my house the next day. I chopped a few jobs around and I spent 8 STRAIGHT hours (5pm until 1am, as he was going to Knockhill the next afternoon) on it and got it out to him. Surprisingly enough, I still have him as a customer...................only now he drives a BHP-stickered SKYLINE[] Russell ps - hopefully it won't be too costly M8
  19. In the category of best blue newage without gold wheels and Garrett Turbo AND STILL RUNNING AT THE END class.............................there is only one entrant! Russell ps - no malice intended, its just that everyone south of Stonehaven was commenting on how much Peter was going to kick the ABZ newages backsides and it never happened! pps - How's the diagnosis Peter? Expensive repair? Hopefully you'll be back at Crail soon enough .
  20. AWD are Whitelins stockists - 01738 633336, ask for Grant or Andy, they'll help you out. I'd help you myself from my supplier (hush!, hush!) but I ain't home for 2 weeks and they'll only supply to my address. Failing that, Demon Tweeks ae doing a GB (but only for Scoobynet members) - 15% discount on their prices...which were aleady some of the lowest in the UK for Whiteline! Russell
  21. Yes M8 - it will be! Plus I have a few ideas to put your way with ref to overall performance inprovement in several areas. Russell
  22. PMSL - OK M8, your will remain free! Russell
  23. If everyone is happy with these new rates ( good on T&C and Craig Mac for getting this sorted, great show of commitment on T&C's part)............... MAYBE I NEED TO REVIEW MY RATES...................................................in terms of INCREASING THEM! Might have to do it if everyone is happy to pay 48 +VAT for servicing[] Please note that this is not an attack on T&C, this is me having a little fun and "stirring" as things are a little quiet out here in India.[:S] Russell (bored............but getting paid to be!) ps - question for you all.....................as I am going through loads of them at the moment....................should I start charging for BHP Stickers! (donning the flamesuit right now!)[:|]
  24. Right back atcha! Russell
  25. OK Bud - let me know if you need anything! Russell
