  1. For a bit of info on the SLK with the SLR engine have a good look here - http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/custom-carsho...nics-122019.php Very impressive.
  2. Cannae believe that Chris. An Army Veteran like yourself too. A man who fought but didn't die for his country getting shafted like that. []
  3. What gets me with the Mines car compared to say the HKS one is how insanely planted it looks. Seen other videos of it, but that one's good too.
  4. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1189080207921612180 The video is a bit rubbish, but just listen to the turbo spooling as the driver dials up warp speed. Glorious.
  5. Are they aware that you use special oil for the first 1k to run them in?
  6. You can get some nice green Tein ones from all good Tein stockists. More expensive than the Scott Lowe ones though.
  7. Mine came in red as standard. Lovley.
  8. I failed my first for speeding. No change there!
  9. Great numbers Higgy. You were certainly enthusiastic about the project when we spoke at Knockhill a month ago, and you've got the results to show for it. Looking forward to seeing it on the track.
  10. I guess they'd caught all the robbers, rapists and murderers in tayside today.
  11. 1998 when I was 17, so 8 years now. Only been done once and that was in March.
  12. Thank you ally. I knew my claim that they came out the factory like that was true, but I didn't know the name of the model. It really is quite horrific though eh?
  13. I need one! They look great. Peter, drilling a hole in it is surely treason?
  14. Welcome! I've officially run out of interesting ways to say hello to people now.
  15. What about Autronic (http://www.autronic.com/page_files/mitsubishi_subaru.htm), Greddy's e-Manage, HKS F-Con? I'm sure there's another one I can't quite put my finger on. Was in Scooby mag or True Grip a few months back. Just to confuse matters more! And Peter - Nice work with the FMIC. You know I like my japanese bits.
  16. Is the anti-lag selectable Peter? It's not something you'd really want to be running on the road if you're just nipping down to the shops for a pint of milk and half a dozen rolls.
  17. Video of it in action. I forgot to add some sort of conclusion to my first post, but I'm sure it's obvious that I'd think a simple ecutek reflash is where it's at in terms of bang for your buck.
  18. What sort of numbers are you looking for Martin? Gumball is running circa 440bhp with the Andy F ECUTEK remap. Remember that the first map includes the licence, any mapping after that you're just paying for a tweak to the map. Gems will give you extras like anti-lag but do you see yourself using that? I'd personally love anti-lag, not for the performance, but just for sitting at the traffic lights scaring the hell out of everyone as the cars going off like a shotgun. But I have to ask myself, is it really worth the extra? MoTeC - The dogs danglies, but surely overkill in a massive way. Only Calder supply them in Scotland that I know of.
  19. You can paint CF. I think they'd look good left in CF though.
  20. Great news Al. You can drive around in front of speed cameras with your mistress or mister on the side without the future wife finding out now! []
  21. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_in...roducts_id=5119 Check that out Neil. That's the package price with the HU and a drive, but almost any USB mass storage device would work with it. I'm considering selling my headunit for one.
  22. Admit the speeding, but never to dangerous driving. Very hard to be convicted for DD.
  23. Or the Goat could be driving whilst you're smoking it?
  24. More importantly Fee. Who won?
  25. They'd look better than your tumble drier hose Peter! Which is still some damn nice ghetto engineering.
