Hi Does AndyF do ECUTEK for EVOs? Might be interested if he can. Also, does it have to be 'his' map or can he tweak a previously mapped ECUTEK license? Where will the mapping be done? Aberdeen, Glasgow? Cheers Mark

Looks good! How much wrap did you use for the downpipe? Is it 2" stuff? I'm thinking about putting in a sports cat downpipe and wrapping it. Anyone know of any potential problems with that (cracking etc.)? I'm considering the Scoobysport ninja 100 cell job, so the workmanship should be up to scratch. Cheers Mark

I've had a magnex 6x4 on my classic scoob for aout a year and a half, but i can't stand the drone at 70mph. I'd like to have the burble etc. at low speed but I hear that the Hayward & Scott is better in the high speed categeory: eg. not so loud and drony. Anyone have any experience of both these exhaust?

Or get a motorbike - no front plate - problem solved I heard that only 2 are working on any one day. Thing is it could be the ones at each end or 2 right next to each other, only the cops know. One interesting interesting fact from a reliable source: Gatso prosecution = speedlimit + 10% + 3mph (70mph limit = 80mph prosecution) SPECS prosecution = speedlimit +10% + 10 mph (70mph limit = 87mph prosecution) And they definitely don't go on till mid July on the A77 After then I will be cruising at 86mph (Once I'm sure that this info is accurate, of course) MarkMac

Hi everyone. Has anyone had good experiences with a bodyshop in or around Aberdeen? Just had a prang and need a quote for my insurance company. The magnex is fitted and sounds superb. Only problem is I now have to have the windows down whenever I am out and about! I also wish you hadn't told me about the centre pipe on ScooobyParts cos now I'll probably go and buy one. Bugger! cheers again Mark

Just got another phonecall from Fiskens. Due to a drop in the parts costs from Subaru the service cost has gone down to £95 including parts and labour. That's £55 less than Town & Country. And they do a SIDC membership 10% discount. Mark

I phoned Fiskens of Forfar and they quoted me £110 and seemed friendly enough so I'll probably go with them. They'll do it while I wait too, which is good cos they're not that close to Aberdeen (30 mins travel). Cheers for the info Derek FKS 85 Mark

So it turns out my Scoob needs a service (42 month, 52K miles, no cambelt). I have been quoted £151 all in (inc. VAT) from Town and County Are they any good? If so, is this a competitive quote? It seems a bit steep to me are there any other good servicing places around here? I take it getting a non Subaru approved service would invalidate the warranty, yes? I wish to keep my FSH up to date so anywhere that can stamp it after the service would be good. Cheers Mark
