  1. Cal, i'd be up for that too. Havent heard my exhaust from the outside so would be good to get some clips. Craig, what tailpipe did you go for? I got mine from Wallace too. Mines is the straight cut jap style can with burnt tip. Iain
  2. Or if you're up in Aberdeen at some point, get Russel (WUZ) and Marc (booyakasha) of BHP developments to do it. Iain
  3. Was well surprised when i can off a roundabout expecting to absolutely smoke a 306 rallye that was behind me. Although he wasnt quicker he was managing to stick with me, just.
  4. << Ian - got sideways yet ! can you hear the turbo spool up nicely Cal >> Havent had it sideways...yet I am still in disbeleif that one little pipe can bring so much happiness! oh and no cel yet either! Iain
  5. Another satisfied customer Thanks again for the down pipe fitting much appreciated. Loving the increase in performance! Iain **edit, i cant spell!**
  6. Im interested in going depending on the date. Sounds like fun and i've got relatives down that way too Iain
  7. havent decided who im going to yet, it was just a website a guy at my work passed on. the name seems familar though.
  8. Oh I see, theres reference to Andy F on the site too. I was wondering if he had something to do with them also?
  9. Yeah thats them, I took them in my works car park. Its just a demo car. I think the copper that drives it just gives road safety demo's. its not an actual traffic car. The policeman and car were at the SIDC national day out at Alford, quite a sound guy actually. Iain
  10. As per the subject, has anyone had any experience with these guys Dentist Mapped Not a bad price for the ecutek map. Iain
  11. Very sad news. RIP Iain
  12. << << Looking good mate Iain >> Thanks Iain. How's the downpipe? You enjoying it? Dave >> Hi Dave, went out to Alford tonight to see the folks and gave it some on the way home. I was grinning the whole way back (the girlfriend was the opposite!). The car seems to be transformed, smoother to drive and a noticeable power increase especially 2nd through to 4th gear. Not a huge increase in noise from inside the car either. It pops alot more too . No CEL light yet either, so fingers crossed it stays off. Trust me it should definately be your next mod! Iain
  13. Dont know about sheep shaggers but im still up for it Iain
  14. Im pretty sure the resonated section is only there to reduce noise levels, Im guessing it will be a resonated section in your sti (it is on a standard WRX). On the wrx, the PPP only replaces the centre cat not the resonated centre section, I think its the same for the STI but I may be wrong. Im sure a Sti owner will be along shortly to clarify Iain
  15. Looking good mate Iain
  16. Russell I touch goats Iain
  17. Could you carry on driving it even tho the cel was on? what does that stand for anyway? yeah re-map is in the pipeline, just gathering bits first, have a CAI sat in the flat and quite fancy getting a Sti TMIC and possibly up-pipe. Iain
  18. Cheers carl Iain
  19. Carl, will this be open to non SIDC members as my friend might be interested in going in his Elise? Iain
  20. Will soon be aquiring a H&S downpipe for my buggy wrx, is Wallace Performance the best place to go to get this sort of work done? I have a downpipe back powerflow exhaust which was fitted by them so I'm guessing its probably my best bet? Also will I run into any problems running a full de-cat without remap? Iain
  21. Went along to the Aberdeen Mini Owners Club day at Alford on Sunday just past, was a cracking day. The only downside was it was £5 for 2 runs on the track which I thought was a little steep when you compaire it to the SIDC £10 for as many goes as you can fit in. Also had to pay a fiver just to get through the gate. Was anyone else from here out there? Got 2 runs on the track and beat my PB at the SIDC national day. I'm pretty sure I was quicker than any of the cooper s's (dont hold me to that). I was also the only Scooby there which I thought was surprising. My friend Ian was there in his teg type r engined 1970's style mini, I beleive he was putting in some quick times along with a few other crazy motor bike engined mini's. Iain
  22. Count me in. Any Sat/Sun in October is good for me 1. Carl Davey, Cav Turbo 2. Jamie, Scooby ...depending on shifts 3. Iain, WRX Bug
  23. Hi Swiggi Iain
  24. I got held up and by the time i got to W.P. and missed all the scoobs, the evo boys were on afterwards Iain
