  11. Well I dont think the steering wheel has been off. The only work that has been done on it is its been lowered on Eibach springs and I dont think they would touch the rack/steering wheel for that. Iain
  12. Actually, no I havent will give that a go Iain
  13. Yes you could be right Steven, its just I have never heard of this happening before? Anyone know where I can get this checked out in Aberdeen? Iain
  14. Im pretty sure its just the tappets, mine sometimes does it too from cold. Iain
  15. I seem to be having a probelm with what I think is tracking but to honest Im not sure? To drive in a straight line I need to have the steering wheel turned to the right ever so slightly. Enough so that it annoys me anyway. I have had the tracking checked (by kwick fit i might add) when this problem first started a few months ago but nothing seemed to change. It did reduce a little. Could it be a geometry problem rather than just tracking? I have had the car lowered on eibach springs (more than 3 months ago). Geo was checked by wallace performance a week after it being done. Track rod ends? Help, I dont have a clue. The car hasnt even touched 30k miles yet. Iain
  16. I'm a waver!! Althought its kind of a running joke me and my girlfriend have as I always wave and very rarerly get one back. Just blank expressions, you can almost see them thinking I dont know him, why is he waving! Actually a week or so ago a guy in WR blue Blobeye wagon with blue mudflaps gave me a wave near Garthdee. Anyone from here? Iain
  17. I will try and make it along tomorrow night Cal are you still meeting up with craig before hand at bk My work is two mins from there Iain
  18. Im really into the deep "jackin" bumpy feel US house at the moment although I cant really get away with playing that in Blu, I can at new year though Saw Gene Farris a few months ago at Snafu he was awesome, right up my street. Also like a lot of vocal and soulful house. Thats more what I play in Blu along with a bit of the more commercial and classic dance tunes. No pop or cheesy sh!t from me though. So who do you contact to get on the mailing lists?
  19. Craig, yeah I've heard about these mailing lists where all you have to do is send them feedback after receiving records. How do you get on them? What kind of stuff do you have / did you play? Iain
  20. I was thinking about getting those too. I think they'd look really good on a newage Iain
  21. Craig, whats your plans for new year? I have something you might be interested in. Pm me your e-mail address
  22. Impressive list mate! The lovechild nights were a bit before my time although when I was growing up I always used to hear poeple talking about how good they were. Have you ever been to the new Palace...Liquid. Not good at all, good light and sound setup though! I have only been "playing out" so to speak for the last year or so and it seems to be getting increasingly hard to get gigs in Aberdeen, as everywhere you go seems to play the same music, i.e. charty p!sh! I quite fancy going further afield such as Glasgow, Newcastle ect. Yeah Mr Grisham is still at it. Amber D is his next one in the forum in a few weeks time. I usually go along and lend a hand at his events. Was at Eddie Halliewell a few weeks ago and Lisa Lashes before that. I can understand the health thing! I'm a vinyl man, its the only way. Although I have been tempted by the dark side as I've had a go on some CDJ1000's and was mighty impressed. The thought of only carrying a pouch full of CD's in comparison to two huge record boxes that weigh a ton does sound quite appealing and the fact that records are starting to take up too much room in my small flat. However there is a lot less skill involved in using CD's. Are you still into that sort of music? Iain
  23. << DJing ??? You mean there is another master turntablist in our midst?? Oh no cant be its blu bar LOL Craig >> Have been Djing on and off for the past 8 years but its more of a hobby than anything else. Blu bar pays for my mods and records!! Blu is actually prettty good and is far from its old image as being an R&B bar. Have Dj'd in a few of Aberdeens clubs and did an IVY Club night in Dunnottar castle in August which was quite good too. Iain
  24. Yeah I was, I thought I saw you. Was going to come over and say hello but wasnt 100% sure it was you Iain
  25. Fee were you in Blu bar on Saturday night ?
