Impressive list mate!
The lovechild nights were a bit before my time although when I was growing up I always used to hear poeple talking about how good they were. Have you ever been to the new Palace...Liquid. Not good at all, good light and sound setup though!
I have only been "playing out" so to speak for the last year or so and it seems to be getting increasingly hard to get gigs in Aberdeen, as everywhere you go seems to play the same music, i.e. charty p!sh! I quite fancy going further afield such as Glasgow, Newcastle ect.
Yeah Mr Grisham is still at it. Amber D is his next one in the forum in a few weeks time. I usually go along and lend a hand at his events. Was at Eddie Halliewell a few weeks ago and Lisa Lashes before that.
I can understand the health thing!
I'm a vinyl man, its the only way. Although I have been tempted by the dark side as I've had a go on some CDJ1000's and was mighty impressed. The thought of only carrying a pouch full of CD's in comparison to two huge record boxes that weigh a ton does sound quite appealing and the fact that records are starting to take up too much room in my small flat. However there is a lot less skill involved in using CD's.
Are you still into that sort of music?
