One of ours on the St Bernadino Pass, en route to Corsica via Switzerland
High res available if needed

Its not rally GB, its Rally around a couple of forests in Wales.
Rally GB was when it covered all GB & spectating involved a 1500 mile marathon.
Those were the days
Agree with the above, have to confess, still call it the RAC..........another oldie

Catch can is a useful addition, but my opinion is the more power your running the more you need the catch can, standard breathers struggle to cope with power upgrades, have 1 fitted on ours followed the guide below, collects a bit of moisture, better in the catch can than the engine

Great day out, some stunning cars on display, look like a beetroot now lol

Sounds like turbo, when you have the top mount off you can feel the turbo impeller & check for play in the bearings, also turn by hand see if there feels to be any roughness in the bearings.
Also worth checking there are no split inlet or turbo hoses, can give similar noises

Hi, best bet is a drive caddy, remove the hard drive from the faulty machine, put into the caddy, usb cable to good machine & copy picies over
Few listed here, just need to make sure you get the correct model for your old drive
-
Think that's a pretty good excuse congratulations to your son

Cracking pics

Few piccies from Oulton / AGM, great weekend guys, thanks to all involved

Hi Paul,
Kenny's link shows the caps you describe on eBay at £35 a set. Could be wrong, but I'd imagine the main dealer is charging at least that.
Cheers.
Worth a phone call, may get a surprise, I did, think I paid £23 delivered for 4, was cheaper than eBay at the time, could have changed now
-
Daft question, but have you tried the main dealer, not available now but the Prodrive OZ centres used to be about £5 direct from Subaru
-
What you doing home so early, should still be out celebrating
-
Happy birthday Kim, have a great day
-
Let us know how you get on mate, cheers Paul

Only going from memory, but once the windows are down & the boot is raised, the roof needs to be tilted up at the back before the arms come out of the boot to pick it up, guessing that the roof does not tilt?
Sorry not much help, would create an account here http://www.delsolownersclub.co.uk/forum2/index.php & check out the trans top section, someone there will know straight away

No problem, hope your soon sorted

Hi mate,
Had a CRX VTI with the same roof as yours a couple of years ago, also ex Honda tecnician, actually went on the course for this model when it was new.
Problem is there are probually not many dealers who have trained staff to work on your roof. sounds to me like they are very unsure of the problem, the roof are a pain when they go wrong & been honest the first 1 I worked on was my own when it decided to jam 1 day
A possible cause would be the mechanism sticking due to lack of use, then stripping the gears in the control box when first used. Know you say your not hands on but can you operate the roof with the manual winding mechanism? Instructions in the manual, if so then I'd work it backwards & forwards a few times, lubricate all rubbers with silicone spray & go from there. Also can you hear any noises or see the roof mechanism moving at all when the switch is pressed?
There are several web owners clubs out there, appreciate yours is a UK car, but ave a look here at the Del Sol owners club http://www.delsolownersclub.co.uk/forum2/index.php need to register but they have a section devoted to trans top issues
