I too have Yokohama's[Y] tried a good few other manufacturers over the years but find them hard to beat. Used them on the mini for hillclimbs and sprints too and they had superb grip for that type of use and abuse. Although on the mini they didnae last very long[] soory Frank no tried the vredsteins[]

Thought the Centre section (resonated) was retained for both the WRX and STI????? Gus

Brian, glad you found them of use. Just had my third box of bits delivered and fitted today[Y]. Folks make sure if you are ordering stuff that they send the right bits. I got two boxes (newage) that were the wrong parts[] it is because the coolant and ancillary parts have the same first 7 letter ref. TCS135C-B is the 6 piece ancillary kit, TCS135C-A is the 9 piece ancillary kit and TCS135C is the top and bottom radiator hose kit. The clowns sent me a second ancillary kit when I wanted the coolant hoses. [:'(] changed no problem tho but just a pain. Also been busy today giving the engine bay some more Samco blue treatment sorry for the highjack[:$] Gus

It must be Samco Sunday indeed. just been oot in the garage fitting more pipes.The whole engine is getting the treatment now. No hose left in scabby grey/scooby black. all turning shiny Samco blue[] starting to look good IMHO[Y] Just ordered the next batch. What do you guys use for general engine cleaning? need to remove some stubborn sticky stuff[] Gus[]
