To a moderate budget: Eibach springs Swaybar links & anti rollbar bushes (Whiteline/MRT) Anti-lift & anti-dive kits (Whiteline/MRT) Geometry set to - front camber max-equal -ve with 1mm toe-in - rear camber max-equal -ve The above should cost about £500-600 fitted. The above would also be a waste of time unless you run decent tyres (IMO) After that lot, suirrel away some dosh for bigger brakes. Best performance upgrade you can do i feel.

I would recommend Fiskins in Forfar to carry out the work. They did a similar set-up for me on my last car: Springs, swaybar links (Whiteline), Prodrive geometry set-up etc It was 3 hours labour all in for the above. Very reasonable rates for a dealership and you get SIDC discount on top! I would avoid AWD at all costs. I could give you a list longer than your arm of people that have had bad experiences there!
