About Scooby Dooby Blue

  1. I have just read through all the message left in memory of Paul. I am truely touched. Paul was the perfect husband and a perfect father. We couldn't ask for anyone more perfect to share our lives with and would not have changed him in any way. The messages left here are an indication of just how well liked and respected Paul was on a wider spectrum. I know some of you came along to the funeral on Monday, unfortunately I didn't meet any of you. However, Paul would have like the fact that those who knew him had the chance to pay their last respects. Words cannot even begin to articulate how hurt we are - however, it was consoling reading the kind words of condolence. Thank you Nicola Stewart (Paul's wife)
  2. I'll get Nick to post pics of his car-puter (running Windows Media Centre) in his WRX. 7" Touch screen in the dash with DVD Writer underneath. Keyboard on the sunvisor USB ports beside the handbrake Micro ATX motherboard in the boot, cased in with the amp etc. Load a terrabyte of HDD space in the boot with movies and MP3 and you'll never run out of entertainment (reckon his is full of porn mind )
  3. It was AWD that fitted it so they probably broke/damaged something and didn't let on...you know what they're like! Grant said at the time it was the first newage they'd done. This became apparent when the initial quote of 30mins to do the job on the Friday afternoon turned into a weekender (they did lend me the binner 'scort to get home at least!)
  4. Euro-merican - Papa Joes (Whitehall Crescent) Italian - Ciao Sorrento (Union Street) Fish - The Belltree (Panmurefield Village) Indian - Ashoka Shak (Camperdown Park) or Bobmay Joes (Gray St B/Ferry) Chinese (buffet) - Jimmy Chungs (Whitehall St) Belltree's your best bet. Whether you want a speciality fish dish or a 2" fillet steak (or both), everythings fresh...no boil-in-the-bag sh!te or frozen vegetables.
  5. Why not buy some banner space and help support the site? Leech
  6. << Went from Dunfermline to broughty ferry this evening and never seen a scoob >> You won't find them in the Ferry....they're all in the schemes
  7. Blue MY98 Turbo 2000 Blue MY01 UK300 Blue MY01 WRX Silver MY93 Jap WRX Green MY98 UK 2000 Blue MY01 WRX Came to hate them all within about 2months of ownership, with the exception of the UK300 which was written-off 5weeks out of the showroom Petrol/insurance/maintenance/mods/events make Scoobs such expensive cars to run and own that once the smile-inducing turbo period wears off and the rattles rear their heads they are (IMO) without doubt the most contentious cars i've owned. Bring on the M5
  8. << you still counting down the days to M Project goes live???? >> Shhhhhhhh......they will ban me !
  9. Fit the Typhoon! ...then a bigger turbo & FMIC. Get andy F to re-map it and then you'll have a car to show off Janine will buy into it if you tell her the power hike is to allow SAFE overtaking (and the re-map to oost fuel economy). Just my 2p Paul
  10. << I've been looking for one of these, why the change of mind? He's not hardcore enough ;P As you can see from my car spec, this should fit. Yep, it's for the bugeye How old, and what condition is it? 6 months / 2000miles / good nick What Colour is the hard pipe? blue Can you show me some pics first! will leave that to Paul jim >>
  11. ...is straight onto a BMW forecourt and p/x for a RWD monster ;P
  12. Sounds like your line might have been dax'd Anyone in 150 that's half decent at their job should be able to find out if this is the case. your best bet is to use the 150 call steering to get through to homemovers...i've found them to be most helpful (with non-homemoving enquiries) as they have reasonable training and are not under the same target/service pressure as other depts.
  13. I'm curious....have you actually been on www.twisties.com Worth a look P.
  14. << << Scumbags like Mr Vaughn shouldn't be allowed fame and fortune. >> Lol, never heard of forgiveness? Well, here's your famous hit list Davina McColl - ex-heroin addict Magenta DeVin - ex-heroin addict Dirty Den from Eastenders - convicted of murder in his young days Martha Stuart - fraud etc. etc. They're all still on TV.... >> You forgot: Janet Street Porter - most aggravating sh!te to ever re-surface on the telly! Oooohhhh that womans voice/teeth combo makes my blood boil
