if you have it on manual use it on the wide open setting i.e green. (all the way at the bottom of the indicator IIRC) i used to wind mine up afew notches if it was wet and i was pushing on abit. Failing all that just leave it in Auto and let it do the work for you.

Today was indeed better than yesterdays swimfest. The SIDC stand looked as good as always...............yes even Dales car was looking good and semi-clean Gotta thank Dale for keeping us on the McRae stand amused and laughing allday........and a massive thanks for hanging around and helping us pack up in uber quick time........Top fella!!!

You can buy alot of power for the right price but as alot of the guys running big power on here use their cars for running around in then you have to have a good balance of reliability/ driveability.

so 5-700 bhp in a Scooby is not deemed as pretty crazy power nowadays? Also the last time i checked, Skylines do not have the same sized engines at Scoobys or Evos.........more like RB 26's (twin and single turbo variants)which are 2.6l usually upped to 2.7 - 2.8l strokers..............so using them as a comparison to Evos and Scoobys is like asking why a kids pushbike is not faster than an R6. My personal opinion is that the Evo engine is better than the boxer but it does not stir the soul like a boxer can..........i'd rather have less hp than an Evo but have all the drama of the noise you get from that flat 4!!
