  12. No worries Iain, as i have said to afew people the pics do not do it justice to be honest. Well i now have the car back in my greasey mitts, did not get away from the bodyshop til about 2145 tonight. Colin Greer was finishing off afew bits and bobs and the boys at S.I.C Bodyshop (Ian, Steve, Chas and Mark) who did all the work were doing afew things along with staying late, cannot Thank them enough for all the work and late days they have put into this. If anyone ever needs to get any bodywork/ Spraying carried out then give the guys a call and either ask for Ian , Steve or Chas. Their work speaks for itself!!!! Their details are - S.I.C Bodyshop Flemington ind estate hamilton rd Cambuslang 0141 642 0600 [H]
  13. Nice, hope you got a good handbrake as that looks like abit of a trundle through the garden should it fail []

  15. Unfortunately i will be back at work for the Run [] Name?................what about Betty!! I jest!!! []
  16. LOL well spotted, the cut out on the bumper was on the other side but changing the exhaust over would have meant big bends in the pipework thus restricting exhaust flow so i got them to modify the bumper instead. []........................easy option wins!!!
  17. Wheels are staying mate, pics don't really do them justice.
  18. Thanks people, have been through a fair amount of stressing with this project but when i saw it for the first time yesterday it was better than i could have expected. The car will be staying clean and free of graphics, i feel that graphics will break the car up too much and the lines will all disappear.
  19. The engine is dirty and dusty so no []
  20. Cheers. I put the link to pics as it seems to cut part of the pic off when you post them up, so you do not see the full pic.
  21. FPMSL..............i shall make sure i stop in for a brew. Fuel cap hass over 40 hours of work in it alone []
  22. Am pretty chuffed.....................wtf is the score with the pics on here now???? half the pic is cut off!!
  23. It was a cold December day in 2005 when an idea was implanted in my head by a certain Mr Greer, an idea that soon started snowballing with parts being sourced and flying from all corners. Wrong ones arrived and were dispatched, some took forever to be found, i started losing my hair while Bill Greer was heard saying "Never again, this is a definate one off!!" on numerous occasions. The car went off the road in April 2006 for the transformation to begin, i went off abroad to work for a couple of months full of hope that i would have the car back on the road in about 3 months time again..............................Oh how wrong was i!!! It has been a long hard road, patience is not one of my great virtues and at times am sure Bill and Colin Greer probably wished my phone would break due to the badgering phonecalls. It all seems to have paid off with limited patience and alot of help from Wilky and the Squirrel doing running about for me while i was abroad working.................Thanks gents! Tomorrow should be D-Day with the last little bits being done, brakes on, wheels tightened and key turned!!!! So here it is.................................. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/ANDY...0/WRCSTI017.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/ANDY...WRCSTI018-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/ANDY...0/WRCSTI019.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/ANDY.../WRCSTI0121.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/ANDY...0/WRCSTI003.jpg []
  24. looks better than the old one mate!
  25. Good point! although if the car advertised was a spec c then am pretty sure it would be advertised as one and also not have type uk badges on it. My point was (obviously not clear) that the "standard" JDM STI's (excluding special variations) have rear wash wipes.
