  2. if i pull out the adaptor in the fag lighter all my 12v 'add ons' go off
  3. a better pic, I don't think they'll be blinding anyone at that hight... unlike some Mercs!
  4. 5min job, just slide in the groove and put two little clips in the hold them in place.. paid £29 delivered for the set of 4 re fitted my DayTime Running lights this evening. my LED ones have lasted 18months, then a couple of the LEDs have gone out. so tonight I re fitted some 5050smd DRL and they are so much brighter than the other LED I had before. these come on when I start the car as I took a feed off the cigarette lighter 12v power.
  5. put it this way, the wiper come virtually up to the top of the windscreen anyway. never had problem last year, or on my other cars with Sunstrips.. on the outside some more shots taken this evening... had to sweet talk the security guard on the demolition site to allow me take photos from inside so you can see the how it looks for all my photos look at www.flickr.com/neoquip
  6. It's only taken me 12 months to get my head around getting it done, but now it's done I'm really pleased. I first thought of going carbon wrap... but now after all this time of thinking about it I opted for the more classy SATIN/MAT wrap. I also had my sunstrip removed and had it re done slightly deeper with the same material as the roof. Looks so much better IMO. with my original Black gloss sunstrip with a pink STi logo on it.... Paul @ www.PWPRO.co.uk in Mansfield did the work, very good on price and quality is 2nd to non. After seeing some 'ruff' wraps it put me off having mine done, but once I saw the quality of Paul and his staffs work, I felt confident they were the right people to handle my car Dropped the car off at lunch time today and collected it later this afternoon. Pix taken at home, bit of a bummer it rained so I could get so better shots this evening.. oh well.. roll on the NBO I know it's not everyone's taste but I like it. With it being a wrap it easily can come off in a few years if I want to.
  7. i did the 'how to' for carkandy http://www.carkandy.co.uk/how-to-1-w.asp
  8. Noticed I was losing oil this weekend from the Scoob, On my drive.. in my garage, oil under the car when I've parked up etc. (after driving/engine running) Rang John Wood at Beechwood yesterday and he said bring it down (check oil level to see how much I had before I drove over to Derby - I had plenty on the dipstick) He got me booked me in for this afternoon. Popped over.. drove very steady... Their mechanic (same guy who fitted my Prodrive/Eibachs the other week) got it on the ramp.. whipped the under tray off (covered in all) oil all over the oil filter.. started car.. oil coming out a small hole in oil filter at the back of it! 20mins later, all sorted, New filter fitted.. all new oil added and Chris at Beechwood looked after me on price too can't say thank you enough. Car runs lovely again
  9. perrin stuff is nice. I love my black radiator shroud cheaper than the proR and better looking, I'm not keen on the chrome look in the engine bay.
