Dudes! A week today (22/10) I have the dubious pleasure of turning 30 and am having a bash at the Legion hall in Douglas from 7.30 til about 12. All you local dudes are welcome to come along as well of course as our filthy tart pal over in the uk. Don't worry if you can't make it or don't feel like it, I won't take offence but it'd be cool if some of you are up for it. If anyone knows whether they're likely to be there either way it'd be handy so I can keep track of numbers to an extent. Cheers dudes.

It was really p1ssing out and you couldn?t go more than a couple of miles from cold engine before it?d start overheating. The bizarre thing was that I drove 12 miles on Sunday to the local Scooby Clinic (Mrs D?s) and it didn?t go above normal temperature once!!! Dunno why it decided not to leak but I know there?s a hole in the rad as I?ve seen the water spraying out from it. Am just driving the strange rover instead at the moment ? did some fun offroading on Sunday dudes. Sweet!

I'd rather fit on a new one than something as old as this is the second one where the end tank has sprung a leak. That said, if I could get a cheap second hand one that wasn't very old I would but for the money it's probably better to get a new one even though it means struts & stuff will have to be put off. Again. Not swede!

Bah! Radiator has indeed sprung a leak on the drivers side end tank. Time to find another rad. No way I'm trying to repair the hole either. I've had one go about 3 years back and nothing I tried could stop the leak. Bumholes. Looks like she's going off the road for a bit. Enter the Strange Rover.....

Dude that's a bummer. Wish I could think of something to suggest to get round doing that but nothing immediately springs to mind.

Cheers dude! When I get in tonight I'll run it til it gets up to temp & starts leaking then find properly where it's p1ssing out from. Hopefully it's just something simple but it should be easy enough to spot I think (hope). Leak is right at the front somewhere anyway so with a bit of luck something will just need tightening but I've had an end tank split in the past..... Rassen fassen sassen. At least it sounds like the Type R is getting there!
