I think Iain's was a mild noise!! im running a full straight thorugh Blitz Nur Spec R system and the cabin noise is easliy tolerable, with the window open its sexy lol. Its all in the burble if it goes....!! Of course when it comes to MOT day its all in the old system being put back on!!

I just replaced my mains with extra bright lights and the sad looking corners really did look bad, dunno why it is on Subarus but they really are dim. I have ordered a set of these now so hopefully will improve alot Cheers Col Andy

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha well if i dont laugh ill cry Its the mm front pulley wheel attaching to the alternator/powersterring pump its mm kind of sheered off In fact it was lucky it came off at work at 2000 revs and not on the bypass 20mins earlier at a 70/80 speed AA rekons the crank cambelt was saved but pulley wheel thing and the bit its bolted into look messy and will need replacing The bolt holding it on doesnt sit in the threads tightly. Ill get some pics up tonight after i have 'walked' home Sigh i just got over the shock of having my PC hacked into not this lol A

Hey Iain found the knocking noise in my car It was the wheel lower down from alternator it wasnt loose the other day. But it is loose now Actually so loose it has come off, its leant against the fan at the moment. Car is at work and ill probably have to leave it. I sat at work blipping the accelerator and it was rattling really bad then went quiet. will it damage anything. Andy

Unfortunatley little lack of funds from holiday and a poorly car is taking fun out of driving her. Also as I work and am in Charge on sundays mini meets and monthly meets is a no pretty much now to Christmas. And I miss going to both Was away for the photo shoot which i was really p***ed off about. Japfest I missed out on getting organised with as i was away on holiday. As was chance of getting you ( Iain ) to look at my car Overall I love everything but never seem to be able to be free. Maybe as Ed says ill get time to join in, cos I really really miss it all and miss the sound of the group of us blasting the mini meet or turning up at the harvester. Light tapping still when using cable but when i rev it again after dropping revs its not so noticable. Its only a light tapping noise not a harsh knocking or anything. Its seems to be coming more from the front, where the altinator belt and the mm wheel/cog thing is but as usual its not easy to pinpoint the noise. Its ok stu i thought u may have been on a mission to get home that night guess you was on overtime Andy

Always interested in coming and always would if I just wasnt working Sundays. Its really annoying as I see sometimes how low the numbers are etc and would alwys come and boost it I just cant get out of working Sundays Andy

ill test in the morning, if i rev from inside car i can hear it tapping not tried from cable. remeber car been unused for 12days. Ill have to take it out in morning and get the noise back cos it aint there unless i give it a drive Andy

Was that you this evening Stu at about 7.30ish gave ya the thumbs up outta the window Sainsbury's roundabout Also prob more for big D, I have developed a little knocking noise under the bonnet. Now if i drive normal oxford roads to work or to town etc it never does it but when i have taken the car out a bit and given it a blast upon the idle it makes a tapping noise from engine area. I have had it running on normal fuel as I got caught short before so could it be pinking? if that still exists. I have filled up tonight with 99 octane and it still is doing it tho the fuel wouldnt have run in properly... Andy ideas would be great. Oh and there is no hesitation or effect on cars pulling power Andy
