your injectors in your sti will see you to over 400bhp easily so unless you are going that direction then it is a complete waste of time. Also with the bigger injectors you would need to get it remapped to accomodate them or it would overfuel badly.

It is not anal. It has been proven throughout scoobynet that a lot of failures occur within 50-100miles of an oil change. You may have just been lucky that you have not seen any problems but there have been many that have. I say for all the effort of disconnecting 1 plug and cranking it for 30 secs before firing it will not kill you anyway!

Dear god!!! For all the time it takes to crank the engine over after disconnecting the crank sensor. It's your car but for the sake of 1 mins work i would rather not risk the cost of a rebuild but suit yourself!!!!

Well after all the hassle it has finally paid off. Got the car mapped today by andy and to say it is fast is an understatement!! In case some people don't know i have a 2.1 fully forged closed deck block (also known as a 2.2 in HKS/JUN world) with ported sti3 heads running a 20g turbo. I used a 10% meth mix and it was mapped to 1.6 bar running approx 94% injector duty on 550cc injectors at 4 bar static. Max boost of 1.6 bar was achieved at 3000rpm (3040rpm for those that like accuracy!) and the boost comes in very hard with more torque than a 2.0. I am well chuffed!! [] Stuart
