Who got the best souvineers from the Jim Clark?
craigdmcd replied to ScoobyAndy's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Does multiple bruising count as a souvenir Vicky. I certainly have my fair share of dirt and a large sleep deficit to show for the weekend. -
You never told me that you were a frequenter of this site Vicky. Once I get the wee one down to bed, I'll stick up a rough spec of the Mazda and I think Gaz got a photo in service. Fred and JD are on the case to get the Subaru sorted, and when travelling up the road, Phil mentioned how happy he was with your performance, so don't rule out the chance of getting asked again. At least this time you'll know not to even try saying "No" Craig

Superb, I'll PM some details to contact me later and see if we can arrange this then.

Weeb, see the other similar post above. I think the emissions will just come within limits[]

Where is good for an MOT Glasgow West End
craigdmcd replied to sandyRS16i's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Sandy, I'm an MOT tester in Mercedes Benz of Glasgow and am confident if your car is hot enough, that it will mpass the emissions test. PM me if you want to book it in. Saturday afternoon suits best.[] -
Charlie, if we can get one more at least (preferably 2), then I think it sounds a good plan. One of the boys in work may want to go, I'll find out tomorrow. The website makes it look a superb day out.

Now I know who I'm looking for. Just needing a nice set of anthracite rims and it'll be the absolute berries.[]

thinking about a new t.v what kind should i get lcd or plasma
craigdmcd replied to G.T.'s topic in Scottish Scoobies
If you are willing to spend some cash, I would now be looking at the Pioneer with the separate box that controls all the inputs - I've seen it for around £2750 in Curry's, and it is beautiful. Alternatively if your budget is more modest, I recently got a 3 new LG LCD's in the house, and my pride and joy is a 32" LG that sits in my playroom and has a Tuner/Sky input, PS2 with soundbox, video, surround sound DVD and computer inputs. It's HD ready, the picture is excellent and all for a very modest £850 Incidentally, I heard that Samsung and LG make all the LCD screens for the industry, the rest just put their own electronics in them. Don't know if that's true or not Carig -
ANYONE GOT AN SMALL ANGLEGRINDER I CAN BORROW??
craigdmcd replied to wilky's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Yeah, there nice, but built like sh1te. They've got an outstanding view though. Vicki, I think coz I put a bit about being just off the EK expressway is why you thought I was in EK. -

I'm actually up in West Craigs (you know the bit that the posh folk like to call Hamilton, but it's really "Hi Blantir"). No doubt I'll spot you out and about. -

craigdmcd replied to wilky's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Callum, wise choice just to buy one (B&Q probably the best bet), as it would have cost youas much in fuel to come and borrow it. Vicki, nice to here that it is spotless, no-one likes to touch it if it's manky. BTW, what do you drive so I can look out for you when out and about. You'll see me in either (or rather hear me) a Silver Legacy GT-B or an 04 WR Blue WRX that looks more or less like a STi. Craig -

I've got a 4.5" one you can use, and you can have a shot of my angle grinder as well (boom, boom). Seriously, in all night, welcome to come and collect it - I'm just off the EK express way (drag-strip, call it what you want). I'll PM you my mobile number Craig -
And for some reason the site is down - sorted it now -my fault

Stole this from another site I browse, so would anyone be interested in getting together to travel done (less of a convoy and more of 4 people to a car to keep the costs down). Any questions, just ask away. Right guys i have the paper work for the rallyday through and i am looking for definates for this year so i can start the ball rolling on a paddock parking site, the date is the 22nd july at castle coombe again. ADULT TICKET £8 CHILD TICKET £2 PADDOCK PASSES FREE INDIVIDUAL TRACK SESSIONS £25 EACH SESSION. P&P £1.00 We could do with good weather this year and an equally as good turn out,so i hope you have good notice, For more info check this site out http://www.rallyday.com/index.html Craig

Yes boys, unfortunately the japs are having the last laugh on all us stupid cnuts by sending their crappy, poorly built Imprezas that women drive (my wife has one) and keep all the far nicer Legacies for themselves. Just try having an orgy in the back of a GT-B, then try it in an Imp - a few other posts might support this with their sexual content.

Gus, you have e-mail. Craig

Will it fit a 2004 Blobeye WRX?

To help possibly clarify why the shortage happened, I happened in to the Shell garage at the south side of the Forth Road bridge (to a distinct lack of Optimax), and after putting in £10 of normal unleaded in (the fuel light had already been on for 25-30 miles), asked the boy behind the counter "Why the shortage?". The reply seemed a very feasable excuse that a large number of the delivery trucks were off the road getting "Mot's" done, and Shell had put a bigger emphasis on delivering normal unleaded and diesel to the stations.
-
Don't bother with the travel, just get Carless or Elf Turbo delivered to your door (admittedly at even greater cost), but the gains are bigger again.

I used to work in the bodyshop industry, and Richmond had quite a good reputation in the past, but I haven't heard anything good or bad recently since I'm not in that specific part of the trade any more. (but I will tell you not to visit the Reg Vardy bodyshop in Cumbernauld Road).

Am I doing something wrong, as when I zoom in (I'm trying to view the Larkhall Kart circuit to the NE of Larkhall), it just goes all blurry?

I am looking for the site where you could see an aeriel picture of an area of your choice, it was on the forum a while back. Could anybody help me find it please. Thanks Craig

Don't know if it is a sial or not, but it's like dodgy dvd's, you can never get tired of a good one.

I believe that 5W is the prefered oil if the car is a New-age Subaru, wheras classics are recommended to run 10w.
