If I'm not mistaken, generally, Subaru wheels have an offset of ET52 on WRX's, and STi's need an ET48 to clear the Brembos, so the ET45 is pushing the rim to the outer edge. There are a few specialist wheel dealers who can safely reduce the offset by a safe margin where sufficient material is available on the wheel. I would suggest approx 6mm would make them ideal.

For that sort of performance, what German car can live up to that at that price?(New retail of course)
-
Beautiful car control, even if it has been practised quite a few times judging by the tyre marks.
-
So now that is out, have you got the pads and discs changed?
-
Did you get the offending nut removed?

Disney Cruise is the Bees Knees, and makes the Ice Driver trip look very cheap. Unfortunately I love my 6 year old daughter more than my Scoobies, so she gets spoiled before them.

Damned Credit crunch!! Looks like saving up for 2010 it will be then (just have to explain to the wife why not all the money I'm saving is for the Disney Cruise)

Looking awfully light and sweet. It may look better with a hydraulic handbrake and a extinguisher kit in there, I wonder who would have that

I'm in Blantyre and would be happy to fit them for you on Saturday afternoon or Sunday

Finally The Limited Print Is Ready - Shop Is Open

Thanks for letting me know Imy. Will they look similar to the numbered prints? Shame I missed out though, I would dearly have loved a proper print to frame and put on the wall. (Grant was I meant to get one out of the boot of the car as I was fitting the Cat? ) -

I am another that was unable to order when I first read the original post (on my work computer and don't like to order things through that), so I'm massively disappointed that I have not managed to order one. As a suggestion, would it not be possible to do a further run of the pictures that are not numbered, and hence not de-valuing the original run, as making them available. I would far rather give my money to the charity than some lowlife selling their's for profit or getting a fake from E-bay. As others have suggested, so many people were involved in the picture, and so many more were not available to attend the event due to other commitments that I'm sure another 300-500 could easily be sold. Just a thought. -
I don't know if it is of any use to you, but I had a set of Carbon Lorraine pads in the brakes on the wifes car and they were pretty awesome stoppers, but they were a bit squealy at slow town speeds so I took them out when I got new DBA discs. They've only done 2-3K, so a pretty much new, if you are interested, you could have them for £60

Can't see why not, as Halley's have the Japanese JDM fiche on the computer, and I have ordered bits for my Legacy GT-B from it before and got them to be shipped over. Surely that is just the same.
-
I was made aware that you can actually supply a part number to dealer, and they should be able to deliver it (I find Japanparts.com quite expensive), so if we can work out what all the parts are, then we know what to order and what price it is in Japan at least.
-
I know it's in Japanese but there must be some way to convert this - it is the current list of parts available from STi for all models of Imprezas all the way back to the classics. Actually going back to the STi homepage and looking at all the parts of the site is good if slightly annoying in so far as we easily have as big a following in the UK, but IM motors don't want to let us in on this stuff. http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/PS/partslist.html
-
I was more interested in the large quantity of spares that was bid up to £1980, but doesn't have a sold beside it, and I just noticed at the end, a damaged Impreza went for £22!!!!!!!!!!!
-
That is scandalous - name and shame - that is way below book price! As for the article, I read it last week, and it did make me want a 22B. It's actually quite nice to see that their original opinion on the car has changed, and they liked it more with age. As for the 330S, unfortunately it hasn't grown on me any more than the latest STi's, and hasn't made me change my mind as to buying a UK spec car from IM again. For that sort of cash, I'd be buying a Import Legacy STi like this JDM Legacy or a Forester STi.

I understand what sold on the auction site means, but does the term "closed" mean that the item wasn't sold for that amount?

Any idea on what is in the glass cabinet, or how much was on the shelving, or if the engines are going to be supplied with the 2 project cars? So may questions, so little time!
-
Are they power fc's or just the commander units, I've tried blowing up the pic and still can't make it out. I also noticed that the stack of shelves with all the spares has the comment that says any engine parts belonging to the 2 unfinished projects would not be with the lot, does this mean that they will go with the unfinished cars? Don't think I can afford to put out any more speculation money at the moment though.

Unfortunately not, but have a good time and make sure you pack the waterproofs. Have fun getting to and from, but be careful as those roads bite hard (as I found to my cost when my ex-mate confused ambition and ability - thought he could be a rally driver but came up woefully short - or upside down after a triple somersault as our case a few years ago)
-
I'm quite often up this way as the Outlaws stay 300 yards from the refuelling pier at the Nato depot in Aultbea. The North road in is spectacular, but has some points that can catch you out when not paying attention. The south road is just beautiful but full of them damn tourists. I have used the road from Ullapool to the east that ends up roughly in Dornoch. It's actually quicker to go by Dingwall but not near as much fun.

Yep, I think I may be looking at the same threads. I actually only want a standard P1/STi 230mm clutch that should be capable of handling 280-300bhp. Not really needing much more, and the said company is doing one for just more than £130 at the moment. I'm just not sure about the quality.

As some of you know, I'm in the trade and can generally get the best deals going, but I've been on E-bay and generally can't beat the prices supplied by justexedyclutches. I had e-mailed them to check on what to purchase, and got a prompt response. The only problem I have is that whilst browsing Scoobynet, I found a post that had several pro's and cons to it. So I'm just looking to find out whether anyone has had any dealings with this company. If there are any bad comments, please feel free to PM me so as know to get the forum in to any trouble. Thanks Craig
