  6. Cheers folks, I hope to be stretching her legs at the September Knockhill trackday (See if i can remember how to drive it )
  7. Well there seems to be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel now. Took a trundle over to Dunfermlin to see how Graeme was getting on with the Scoob and able to say the ECU, Zeitronics and the Phormula knock analyser are all talking to each other and the dash is being put back together again. This just leaves the AVCR to be re-wired for the external wastegate and another couple of tidy up jobs and the fitting and setting up of my coilovers etc then its off for mapping to about 1.85 Bar which should do me for a while and keep the engine nice and safe! Once Mapped its back over to Peters at Prestige Car bodies to get the roof scoop fitted and the last of the very minor snagging jobs completed Canny Wait!!!!! :boldblue: Graeme
  8. That Glenshee run was the day I decided to head down the modding route
  9. The cables will be long enough. I have my controller in the glove box and fed the wires through the rubber grommet on the passenger side bulkhead by snipping a hole in it Graeme
  10. single track road and the only bit of parking left for about half a mile in each direction. Was up at Loch Awe for a mates birthday party
  11. Aye Peter if it breaks traction that easily at 1 bar what the heck is it going to be like at 1.5 or 2 bar
  12. Looking good Dave, agree with you on the mesh. I would say get it powdercoated black
  13. 1st decent sunny outdoor pictures Had a wee play with a 2009 M3 on the way up to Loch Awe. Accelerating in a straight line there was nothing between the cars and that was me running 1 bar of boost canny wait to get the boost wound up Graeme
  14. Oh well, you will be getting yours fitted 1st then mine is still over at Steve's being tweeked before going to see Mr Jeram for mapping and some suspension setup
  15. Ahhhhhh just back off the phone with them and they have told me since I spoke to them this morning a delivery has come in and there are 2 roof vents on the paperwork but they have still not seen them yet as they are still going through the boxes
  16. Starting to get a bit pissed off now, We ordered the Spec C roof vent from AF Nobles way back at the start of March and Paul ordered his a week later, Subaru were paid in full for the vents. I have been given so many different stories about delivery times and locations of the vent it is unreal. The other month there the vents were in Birmingham, then they were sent by mistake to Sweden then they disappeared only to be told a few weeks later that they were never ours in the first place. Lat time I was told they were going to be here at the end of April then the 7th of June. It's now the 8th of June still no vent and still no clue where they are or when they will turn up. Just waiting on Niel getting back from his morning roll then i think I may have to escalate things further up the food chain to try find out what the f**k is going on
  17. Cheers for the comments folks, canny wait to get out and about in it. Still havent seen it in the flesh since its has been built up! Latest news from Subaru is that the vent will be in the UK on the 7th, I'm not holding my breath. John, hopefuly if all goes to plan it should be about 150 bhp more than it was the last time you were in it
  18. Car is now back at Mr Whitsons for a few more tweeks Unfortunatly as you can see from the pic it still does not have the Spec C roof scoop fitted, the latest update from Subaru was that it was going to be here on the 22nd, then the 26th and its still not here yet. Not bad as it was ordered and paid for at the very start of March Graeme
  19. Managed to get to the bottom of it, its all bloomin ebays fault!!! my postcode is PA4 8** and Islay is PA48 *** so according to the numptys at ebay they think I live on Islay ffs!!! Fair play to the guy, I sent him an email and he got in contact via mobile, then spent the next hour and a half telling ebay they were bawbags on the phone so instead of sorting the problem ebay have only lifted the postage thing on his auctions Graeme
  20. Been looking at quite a few parts for the bikes and car and I cant believe how many sellers will not post to my address as I live in "the Scottish Highlands" apparently when the feck did Renfrew become part of the Scottish Highlands?? I then stick in a Glasgow Postcode for one of the shops in Braehead which is 1.2 miles away and which used to be classed as Renfrew untill the built the shopping center and magically they say the can post the item Graeme
  21. my vote is for Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I had them on at the ring and there, back and another 5-600 miles when I was home again I lost 2mm from the fronts and 1mm from the rears. They stick like sh1t to a blanket and have a 300 ware rating
  22. Subaru are saying approx the 12th for mine
  23. And some more wheels still to get painted Graeme
