well as the last meet was cancelled due to the snooty fox being closed for refurbishment i was told it had reopend. any excuse to go out for dinner so we went for a nose! long gone is the dark and dreary snooty fox with the worst seats ever and we now have a modern lovely local! newly named the gilvenbank hotel. its bright cheerful and has lovely leather chairs and setees. i cant wait until the next meet and i know that everyone will be amazed at the transformation! this may also bring in more people as it is a nicer place to be! (p.s the food was good too!)

i have noticed the same in glenrothes area the classic scoobs all wave whereas the newage and bugeye never really do unless i have spoken to them at petrol station/carparks. i dont care i wave whenever i see a scoob.

no, we thought it wouldnt be worth a meet as we didnt think anyone would turn up? wish id known as i spent the night painting the kitchen lol!! the pub isnt open yet for some reason but should be open again soon? we not got new car and are looking onto putting turbo engine into sport! coco scooby? are you from fife cruisers? just i recognise the screen name.

hey brian sorry to hear about that? glad u are all ok. we had the same problem with 2002 sti alloys remember when i first joined i was looking for one? it was the same idea they had been powdercoated and we were lucky as we noticed the crack before it broke away as your wheel did we hae wheel in cupboard but was scarey to think what may have happend. will post pick up when i get a chance but puts me off the subaru wheels if this is a regular occurance? hope you make meet if u not got a car ill pick u up take care caz and les

about time we got something back from them i put enough petrol in a month to pay a few staff their wages. oh well i entered nd fingers crossed its one of us lot that win! would come in handy once i have the turbo!

we have informed police sending all the emails etc so hopefully they will get whoever is responsible but it is a bit worrying that this happens? i mean how many people have they scamed? we were lucky and realsied but for some they would just go through with it? however on the up side there is someone wanting to come out and see it!! am feeling a bit heartbroken but then again ill be able to keep up with some of u guys lol when i get the turbo. its rubbish when the big scoobs want to play and im left toddling along in the sport lol!!

as most of you will know my scooby sport is up for sale. after all the phonecalls, tyre kickers and timewasters we thought we had finally got someone to buy the car. but a few emails later and things werent adding up? some guy had first mailed us to say that he had someone looking for this type of car they were very interested and could we take more detailed photos etc. so out we went taking all the photos and mailing them on. we then started to recieve emails saying that they were actually in spain and were looking to ship the car over (alarm bells started to ring) but we thought we would give them the benifit of the doubt. they then said that they would be sending us a bankers draft for £85000 which is a lot more than we are asking? and that once it was in our account we had to phone his p.a and transfer the money over so as they could pay for the carriage and freight cost. unhappy about this we sent another email asking why he coldnt just send us the money we wanted and the rest to whoever but we were sent a lot of different excuses? we have reported this to autotrader who we have paid to advertise the car through (and this is where he saw the ad) and explained and have contacted Fife Police. ithink we are lucky to have stopped ourselves as we are hoping for a quick sale to buy the long awaited turbo and we could have been stupid and lost everything? but how many people would have just went along thinking things were ok? so watch out and alwas think is it too good to be true? i will let u know the outcome if this is taken further.

i am quite lucky have got 3 years ncb so thats in my favour however they seem to laugh as soon as i want to put hubby on lol!! will give gary a phone soon and let u know!

ive tried this company a few times and never had reply? i ended up with norwich union for the sport but they wont insure me for the new turbo? as im not 25?

poor al? we have not had any bother with being pulled by fife police but our no plate is standard? you should join fife cruisers and come along to some of our meets the traffic police liason guys are pretty sound (for doing what they do?) and can help you with advice and ways round things! but bet im not saying that when i get turbo the speeding tickets will be piling up lol!!

the meets have been a bit small co-co but as ian said its quality not quantity!! we all seem to have a good time and get along but think that we could arrange more and have more fun with more fifer regulars!.

we have seen an imported turbo that loooks quite like yours! its a platnum editiion or something? (it has aluminium panels) come on u fifers lets have a great meet and fill the car park?

back to the snooty cause its just been done up and sounds like it will be good? the brewers fayre was ok but u feel a bit in the road if u r not eating? i will be there not sure what car depending on if i can get the sport sold so keep your ears open everyone, for someone wanting one! please lol
