Is any one getting rid of a STi8 Scoop. Prefer WR Blue, but will take any colour if price is right. Ed

I have to drive a corsa tdi 1.7 5 days a week for my job, in the space of less than 3years I've done 94,000 and counting so my only pleasure is driving my scooby (I don't smoke, drink go with loose women) so even if the fuel was £3.00 a liter I would still pay it. I may have to give up food but small sacrifices have to be made. Ed. PS. But at least the roads would be empty.

Need some info and also posting as a warning to other. On Sat the week before last I curbed one of my front alloys (17" standard gold wrx300 alloy) So I after enquires I took it to Wheelservices in Plains asked the usual question namely could they match the finish. They said they could, so we settled on a price of £59.50 for strip,weld,colour match and rebalance the wheel I dropped it off at 8:30 on Thur a week ago, Was ment to be ready 2-3 days. on Sat told would be ready on Monday On Monday got told someone touched the finish and it would need redone would be ready 5:30 on Tues, I get there on Tues only to find out they had used a high gloss laquer and it did not look right with taped edges showing. so I complained after all 60 quid is 60 quid, they said they would redo it, so on Thur (today) got a phone call asking for more money to dull the finish explained they had all ready been paid to do the job, their attitude was me not willing to pay more they would not fix the wheel. So I collected the wheel, reaffirmed I was not happy and would get another company to sort it and send them the bill, I accidently forgot to tell them I was recording the conversion, I also took a witness with me and we were both asked to leave the premises. So warning is "Do you trust this company with wheels only 1 month old" my answer is now no. And my question is " who would you trust ". Ed.

Stipped out my centre console to fix my HDD the sticker on the back of the single din facia says "4V" in bold black and then under it next to the bar code "050113-0111 D". Hope this helps. Ed

The only ref I can find for code 85 is in OBD2 P0085-Exhaust Valve Control Solenoid Circuit Low. But I would check with Subaru before spending any major money. If your car is fitted with a OBD2 connector I have the interface and software to check the codes for you. Would not be a problem. Ed

Just got the 1000 mile service done on my scooby and the chassis number shows the car as being a WRT 300, I know it looks like a new style UK 300 just wondering if anyone knows anything about this model, orgins specs ect. Ed

another quick question on this topic, with a blitz nur and panel filter something like K&N and maybe a better dump valve to stop the turbo stalling would I see any performance boost. Ed

What do you guys think of the Blitz Nur-spec exhaust. I am thinking of putting on just a back box, does anyone know if this would mess up the warranty. I am just wanting rid of the "Stealth mode exhaust". any advice would be welcome. Ed.

Still in Stealth should have a complete sti system with cats removed to increase bhp I hope along with a panel filter.
